My name is Chris Low and I have been Lion Dancing since 1984 with the The San Diego Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association Lucky Lion Dancers. Before that I used to use a cardboard box with a blanket taped onto it, but that was a long time ago! CCBA, also known as the Jung Wah Association or the Chinese 6 Companies, is the oldest Chinese organization still in existence in San Diego and our LD Troupe is the oldest troupe in the City.

So, what's behind the name change? Well, I have to admit that I lost the password to access the original website. So for about a year and a half there were no updates. Then when my schedule freed up I applied for a new website and transferred all the files to the new site. The name "lionsden" was already taken so I decided to call the new site "The Lion's Cave" in honor of the lion dancing routine "Lion Comes out of the Cave."
