Anakaris performing a super combo on Cable. A lot of flashes there. Not a lot else to be said about this shot.

Sonson's second revealed super combo. According to the Monkey legend, the god can change the size of (his) staff to any size, a fact which Sonson is taking full advantage of. Dr. Doom is the poor guy getting tonked. Not sure what's up with Sonson's back - she seems to have three pairs of hands.

Hulk doing his Gamma Quake on a frustrated Zangief, who hasn't been seen landing a hit in any MvsC2 shot yet. Player 2's super guage is maxed out at five super levels. You'd think if you had five supers you'd want to use a few...

Dr. Doom doing an attack on Amingo, probably using those rock splinters you can see. A new stage is visible, seems to be an old castle or other stone building. Remember that all these backgrounds are in sweet 3D.

Another new stage, seemingly with a toy or theme park motif. This shows Ruby heart doing a special move on Amingo, letting a ghost out of a treasure chest. But I guess you can see that. One thing I can say is that the new texture mapped backgrounds seem more 'painted' and less cartoony, like every Alpha and Marvel game. Sort of like the SFIII series, if you will. It makes for good contrast with the characters.

A shot of the arcade version, with a VMU compatibility message. The whole thing reads: "VM data support! / You can still use the hidden character you acquired with Dreamcast! / Absolutely DO NOT unplug (the) VM while it's performing a check!" In the background you can see Ryu performing a Hadouken on Zangief.

The beta arcade select screen. Beautiful isn't it? Note that the final arcade select screen may be different, since all the supposedly Dreamcast-exclusive fighters are said to be available on the arcade. However this could mean they are hidden characters, since there are 24 hidden character slots on the arcade, but only 16 on Dreamcast. Expect this to be all cleared up when the game is released on March 23rd 2000 (Arcade) and March 30th 2000 (Dreamcast).
