SFIII: 3rd Strike Dreamcast info and screenshots
11.Jun.00 | News from IGN DC

IGN DC has a bunch of screenshots showing off the new features of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on Dreamcast. To see the screenshots visit the original article or click here for Grand Archive's mirror.

Thank to the Japanese gaming site Internet Goo we are able to bring you information concerning Street Fighter III: Third Strike’s game modes. The most notable feature in Third Strike is that the good old bonus round from Street Fighter II will be featured once again. That’s right, you can just go AWOL on a car all over again. Unlike the original’s Honda-looking thing, this time it seems that you will be able to release your frustration on something resembling a Ford Excursion. Thank god, as those gas guzzling beasts are always cutting me off and blocking my vision. Also, a bonus round called "block the ball" will be included as well - we assume it will be similar to that of Double Impact.

Along with the bonus round, expect a fully customizable training mode in Street Fighter III: Third Strike. Not only will you be able to select your opponent’s stance and difficulty, but you can also record your training session for later viewing. There are two modes of training, normal and blocking.

Capcom's pushes back release dates
8.Jun.00 | News from IGN DC

From IGN DC:

So how many of you put down cash for the zaniest cross-over yet, Marvel vs Capcom 2? How many of you just can't wait for the anime-ish mechs of Tech Romancer? Are you a classic Capcom fan? Is Street Fighter III: Double Impact not just on your wanted list but on your most-wanted list as well?

Then we have an itsy-witsy-bitsy bit of bad news for you. Capcom tells us that none of these fighters will make it out until later this month. The games are now all scheduled to arrive simultaneously on June 28th, and although we have our doubts that such a thing would ever happen (three fighters on the same day - come on!), Capcom seems to be confident that it just may.

Street Fighter on Gameboy Advance?
4.Jun.00 | News from GameFan Online

From GameFan Online:

Capcom of Japan has confirmed that it's currently working on three Game Boy Advance titles in-house--but what does this mean to you and I, Misters Joe Gamer? Well, if what we're hearing here at GameFan is true, then you might want to run down to your local retailer and pre-order Resident Evil Game Boy Advance now... The game doesn't have an official title yet, but the cartridge is expected to launch with the next-generation handheld, and may also be compatible with Resident Evil 0.

The other two titles are rumored to include ports of Capcom's Mega Man and Street Fighter series. We'll keep you posted as more details on these three hot titles surface, but until then, keep your eyes here!

Hmm... interesting. What Street Fighter would Capcom be porting? Alpha 3 and Super Gem Fighter come to mind. Keep in mind the GBA should be a bit more powerful than the good old Super Nintendo.
