More Capcom vs. SNK details From The Magic Box: In Capcom Vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000, You can earn points to purchase the the hidden characters and the EX Version characters by just playing the game, similar to Marvel Vs Capcom 2. One easy way to earn a large amount of points would be exchanging data with the Neo Geo Pocket Color version of SNK Vs Capcom, you can easily get a lot of points by playing the Olympics Mode in the handheld version. The hidden characters and EX characters are very expensive in the game, for example, EX characters, Evil Ryu, Riot Blood Iori and Akuma would cost 7000 points, and you only get 300 - 500 points after completing the Arcade Mode. There is a Game Replay Mode in the Dreamcast version, which allows you to save the data of a full round match into VMS and replay later.
EX characters in Capcom vs. SNK From The Magic Box:
25 hidden characters are revealed in Capcom Vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000!
They are the EX Version of the original characters, with slightly different
control, attacks and behaviors. The EX Version characters are said to be
like characters in The King of Fighters '98. The Ratio Point chart gives
you a quick look at the possible combination you can make for your team,
each player will be given 4 points, you can create a team with characters
add up to 4 ratio points, such as four Ratio 1 characters, two Ratio 2
characters, or one Ratio 1 and one Ratio 3 character. Check out the table below:

Capcom has released some new release dates:
Secret Capcom vs. SNK characters revealed?
A Capcom fansite (whose name is in Japanese unforunately) has some rather interesting
screenshots, showing what appears to be the Training Mode select screen from the
Dreamcast version of Capcom vs. SNK. Along with the original 28, there are also
Morrigan from DarkStalkers, Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown and, wait for it, three Ratio
4 characters. They are Evil Ryu, Akuma and Orochi Iori. If you pick a Ratio 4 character,
they will make up your entire team.
See the evidence.
