Street Fighter DVD News The fantastic site Dash Taisen has some news on the Japanese DVD releases of Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie and the Street Fighter ZERO - THE ANIMATION. The Street Fighter II will include two special features - a documentary on the Street Fighter II games and a music video of the theme song. Also packaged are the original trailers and commercials shown in Japan. It is due for release on September 20, 2000. The Street Fighter ZERO DVD is due on September 30, 2000. It will include interviews of the makers, some commercials, a "making of" feature and "TV Anime Street Fighter USA EDITION," the first episode of the American animated TV series, Street Fighter (based on the live action film, Street Fighter). Ascii to release Capcom vs. SNK joysticks and joypads From The Magic Box:
ASCII will release a new Capcom Vs SNK Joypad and Joystick
for Dreamcast in Japan on September 5, the controllers have
6 buttons on front, and there will be 2 different versions:
Capcom and SNK version. Both controllers will come with a
set of Capcom Vs SNK move list cards.
They look very sexy don't they? The joysticks look pretty heavy and sturdy, and there's a VMU slot near the top. The pads are very reminscent of the Street Fighter fan's dream pad, the Saturn controller. However isn't it ironic that now that wicked six button controllers are being released, Capcom vs. SNK and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 both use four button setups?
Capcom vs. SNK review Shoryuken.com's Joey 'Mr Wizard' Cuellar has posted his review of Capcom's latest opus, Capcom vs. SNK: Millenium Fight 2000. It covers the changes, new features and a bit of assesment at the end. There's also a new gameplay movie to go with the review.
Official Capcom sites updates
The official Capcom site has recently undergone
a slight facelift. More importantly, the
Capcom vs. SNK
section of Capcom Japan has been
updated, with artwork, moves and information. Included is a very
interesting shot of the Color Edit Mode, where you can change the
pallette of your fighter.
