Not exactly Street Fighter news, but I know many of you are also big SNK fans, and especially of their art. From Madman's Cafe:
Planet Publishing has announced to release " SNK CHARACTERS 2 -All About Illustrations". The second release in the "All About illustrations" series, this new SNK illustrations book will feature 128 pages of full color artworks (size A4). "SNK CHARACTERS 2 -All About Illustrations" will include illustrations of Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Samurai Shodown, Savege Reign, Last Blade, Buriki One, Metal Slug, SNK Gal's Fighters, SNK vs Capcom, Cool Cool Toon and more. Newly Drawn illustrations will be featured as well.

Capcom vs SNK PRO - previously annoucned as a DreamCast only release, has now been announced by Capcom to be released for the arcades as well. "Capcom vs SNK PRO" will feature minor changes and all characters released from its previous version, as well as two new characters- Joe Higashi and Dan Hibiki. Original character colors created with the Dreamcast version will be useable in arcades- color data from the previous version of the game are not compatible with the arcade version.
Hmm. And this from a company who was supposedly reducing their arcade operations. Not a very wise move in my opinion, releasing such a minor upgrade to an reportedly sluggish market.

Capcom has revealed new details on Capcom Vs SNK 2: Millennium Fight 2001, the sequel of their popular cross over fighting game. Capcom Vs SNK 2 will feature several new fighters, 4 of which are confirmed: Yun (Street Fighter III), Kyosuke (Burning Justice Academy / Project Justice), Athena (King of Fighters) and Hahomaru (Samurai Spirits), the two extra characters (namely Joe and Dan) in Capcom Vs SNK: MF2000 PRO are assumed to be included in the game as well.

Aruze / SNK announced that they are working on the sequel of the SNK Vs Capcom card battle game for Neo Geo Pocket Color, called SNK Vs Capcom: Card Fighters Clash 2. The game is planned for a fall release in Japan.
