CONGRATULATIONS – To Thivagar and Daniel B who represented Mossgiel Park Primary School at the AGTV Network Regional Poetry Competition Finals. The Southern Metropolitan Regional Finals Poetry Competition was held on Wednesday, the 26th of July at Mount Eliza Secondary College. This was the first time students from our school had taken part in the competition. We were very proud of the boys’ enthusiasm and willingness to participate in the competition. Their commitment was acknowledged by presenting Thivagar and Daniel with certificates of achievement at the school assembly and shared with our school community through the school newsletter. SelectionThivagar and Daniel chose the poem, ‘Heute tut kein Zahn weh?’ and were then selected from all the Year 6 students who expressed an interest in the competition. They had been practising hard during lunch times, at school and at home in readiness for selection to participate in the Regional Final. Thivagar said that the competition was challenging but lots of fun and Daniel stated that he felt very proud to be able to represent his school in this way and that it was an awesome experience. Well done boys! LOTE – Frau Jane Grenfell |
