Much later she awoke. She stared at the stones above her thinking of nothing at all, not even the tiny voice at the back of her mind registered. She would, could do nothing save the master wished it. He had not called or commanded her, so she would remain where she was.

"Come to me my bride." A voice said in her head. Rogue stood, there was a rustling, of fabrics, as she rose, and approached the thick wooden door. It swung open as she neared, allowing her to leave unhindered. Her slippered feet made no sound as she moved down the long corridors. After several minutes she came to a large, chamber, whose door also opened at her approach. "Aaah my dear one. You are even more beautiful awake." A deep voice spoke from within the chamber. "Come."

Rogue stepped forward, as the man turned to greet her. He grinned widely at her, his eyes glowing in the dim light. Something in her screamed and pushed at the fog in her mind. She paused. His smile disappeared hiding the points of his teeth. "Rogue?" He frowned deeply, "Perhaps I need to strengthen my spell, my control." He mumbled to himself. Her resolve is stronger than I first judged. He thought.

Caderann gazed deeply into her eyes, sending his power, deep within her soul, and whispered the words necessary to strengthen his control. The pendant about Rogue's neck flared brighter then returned to normal. Soon he would not need the pendant at all.

"Come." He commanded once more. Rogue started forward again, the voice inside her was quiet now. Caderann grinned as he took in his prize. She was dressed in a flowing gown of black silk, with flecks of red and blue at the ends of the sleeves, and along the bottoms. The mere sight of her made his heart skip a beat in time. If it was acurate to say he had a heart. "My dear, come closer." Rogue obediantly stepped closer.

One thing we must definitly do is teach you some control over that original innate ability of yours." He told her. He placed his hands on eithr side of his head, and using his own powers delved deeply within her mind, sifting, searching, for the reason why her vampiric touch could not be turned off.

"Well, well, well. That would certainly cause problems." He thought after a great deal of searching, sifting and breaking of psychic shields. He had discovered, that due to the psychic trauma induced by initial onset of her powers when she was a child, a separate yet somehow tied with the other, inborn power had failed to evolve into what it should have been, aparently a full blown psycho kinetic talent, and the on off switch for the other power as well. As it was it had remained more of a seventh sense instead, leaving Rogue fearful and unable to control her leeching power.

"Well, lets give it a kick start, it will surely prove a very valuable asset." Rogue jumped, as a jolt of energy pulsed through her mind, and a light flashed behind her eyes. Hmm, your fear serves a hinderence as well, we shall fix that too. He thought. Yes wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.
