August '99 finally sees the release of the "Buffy action figures" by Moore Action Collectibles. Moore already did an excellent job on other comic related characters such as the Witchblade, Lady Death, Fathom and more recently Darkchylde. These figures are more directed to collectors than to children. The detail is high, but the articulation is rather limited. However, they are great to put on your desk. For those who can't wait, here's an advance look at the figures. The first line includes Buffy, Willow (season 1), the Master and Angel. Diamond Comics has also offered a limited version of Angel in vampire form. The suggested retail price is $10.95.

More  information about the Buffy action figures and other figures can be found at  Moore Action Collectibles, Inc.
