July 2001:

Buffy and Angel reunite, if only to save the city of Los Angeles from demons of Hell!

In Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Past Lives, a mysterious huntress is stalking the demons of L.A. and blaming her hell-raising antics on Angel. Now Angel's got an army of demonic beasts on his tail who are hell-bent on revenge, and the smartest of these monsters know that Angel's all-too-human partners, Wesley and Cordelia, might be the best targets on which to exact their cunning vengeance.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the Scooby Gang are having to deal with the sudden influx of demon survivors from L.A. Buffy, Giles, and the other Scoobies learn about the situation with Angel, and before long, Buffy decides she must go to L.A. to save her former vampire-boyfriend. This isn't a popular decision with Buffy's current boyfriend, the vampire-hunting Riley. The monster-slaughtering, love-triangle histrionics of the world's favorite vampire Slayer just keep coming in this full-color trade-paperback cross-over collection of Dark Horse Comics' Angel, issues #15-16 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, issues #29-30.

Written by Buffy the Vampire Slayer Watcher's Guide author Christopher Golden, with artwork by Tom Sniegoski, Christian Zanier, and Cliff Richards, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Past Lives is a must-have addition to the collection of Buffyphiles everywhere. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Past Lives is a full-color, 96-page paperback graphic novel, on sale September 19, for $12.95.

Moore Action Collectibles' first series of Angel action figures, based on The WB show, will reach stores in November.

The series will include Angel, Cordelia and Faith.

Here's how Moore describes each figure, which will retain for $13.95

ANGEL

As seen in various episodes, Angel is dressed in a dark gray, v-neck sweater, black pants, and his signature clunky, black boots. His appropriately designed base likens a Los Angeles alley, made complete by a manhole with a removable cover. Accessories accompanying the Angel figure include a small Katana Sword and sheath, a double-bladed axe, a large axe, a Scottish dirk and a Sai.

CORDELIA

Cordelia is garbed in tight, black pants, a tank top, and black boots. Her long, brunette locks frame the assistant's sheepish smiling expression. Standing on a base representing a Hollywood boulevard with a broken star at her feet, this wanna-be movie star is destined to do greater things in life. Armed with an axe, stylish shoulder bag, stake, and a flashlight, Cordelia is ready to fight the big and bad dwelling in the City of Angels.

FAITH

Dressed in black leather pants and a white, midriff halter, Faith shows off her midsection as well as the tattoo on her forearm. Standing atop a fully sculpted alley base ridden with trash, this bad girl stands ready to throw a few punches and defeat her opponents using her stakes, crossbow, and compound bow.

Buffy Series 4 Action Figures Come to Life

Moore Action Collectibles is putting the finishing touches on Drusilla and The Gentlemen for it's fourth series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer action figures.

The Gentlemen, based on the fourth season episode titled "Hush", will be packaged with a straight-jacketed cohort and a base resembling the clock tower attic where Buffy courageously defeated the floating, silent demons. Each of the two figures will be paired with one section of two connecting bases that form a complete, picturesque backdrop for the two seemingly floating Gentlemen. Dressed in a black suit and a huge grin, these horrifying creatures will also come with a human-looking heart, a bag of surgical utensils, a wooden chest, and a few other heart-wrenching accessories.

The slightly daft Drusilla is dressed in a long, slender black skirt and a red, sleeveless top. Her dark hair is pulled back to reveal her mischievous expression, and she looks exceptionally wicked when placed on her base ridden with pillars of skulls and rubble. Drusilla comes with her Miss Edith doll that she is known so well for, a red rose, knife, and a little silver bottle.

Information regarding the Anya figure will be released at a later date.

Drusilla & Cordelia Exclusives

Vampire Drusilla Exclusive

Moore Action Collectibles will be releasing a vamped-out version of one of Buffy's all time biggest, baddest, and most loathed female villains, Drusilla. While Buffy and the rest of the scooby gang may loathe and despise her, fans of the show have developed a fondness towards the character. Her quirky commentary and off-the-wall observations add a humorous appeal to the unremorseful killer. Vampire Drusilla will be a Diamond Exclusive, and will come with slightly altered accessories. Look for Vampire Drusilla this winter.

Slavegirl Cordelia Exclusive

Angel's Cordelia will be offered as a "slavegirl" exclusive resembling the character in the second season episode titled "Over the Rainbow". Slavegirl Cordelia will be wearing a denim outfit draped in burlap rags and a shock collar, which all "cows" are required to wear to ensure they don't slack on the job. Cordelia sports her short, highlighted hairdo, true to newer look, and will come with a handy shovel to make her duties a little easier. Official exclusive holder to be announced at a later date.

Slavegirl Cordelia will be a free figure option with club membership or renewal. Existing members can now preorder the figure for $14.95.

Also look out for the exclusive vamped out version of Angel.
