History: Centuries ago, in a small village in Alsace named Hameau a young and very beautiful prostitute named Marraine met a handsome and apparently noble man. Seduced by his looks, she agreed to go to his mansion. There, she discovered that he was in fact a werewolf. The creature raped and tortured her sadistically and he would have killed her by dawn if not for a hunter who was after his track. The werewolf had also murdered his sister and he used his crossbow to finish the beast off. Alain, the hunter, rescued Marraine and healed her wounds. In time, they fell in love and married and she gave birth to twins. In fact, Alain was not the father of the kids, as their special gifts soon proved. They trained with the crossbow since they were six to become the tools of revenge for the damage their parents had suffered from evil. Soon, they were approved by the local church and the Order of the Red Cape was born. They had chosen the name as a homage to their mother, for prostitutes were forced to wear that cape. The names of the kids were Ecarlate and Rouge Thimbauld.
Ever since, all descendants of the family dedicate their lives to fight evil. Since they all share the blood of a werewolf, when they are 13, they must pass a trial. If their monster blood is too strong, they are killed. Otherwise, they join the Order. Scarlet X turned out to be one of the best in her job. Being a novice trained by brother Faucon, she travelled to Mexico city. Apparently, people related to the legend of Coyolxauhqui -the evil goddess of moon- had been murdered. In fact, Xula, her priestess, was trying to bring her back and she was creating a vampire army to help her. Scarlet met a local guy, Jose, who was meant to help her. Unfortunately, he was not a fighter and he got bitten by the vampires. She also met a charming guy named Nathan that, to her distress, for she was attracted to him, turned out to be an angel. Nathan destroyed the goddess and her cult and Scarlet saved her mentor and Joe, who was now a vampire.
Years later, she was investigating senator Van Fleet with her cousin Rouge when the man was discovered by the senator's men. They put the Judas' sons,, a group of kid beasts, after him and he was murdered in front of Scarlet, who vowed to avenge him. However, Van Fleet was a very powerful vampire king and her order was ambushed. Most of them died, including her fiancee Luc. She would have died also if not for Alex Elder. Days before she had unwillingly saved the boy from a vampire and he was obsessed with her. Hence, he followed her into the trap and got her out. Scarlet started to obssessively murder all Judas' sons until none was left. Then, feeling a little lost, she was put under command of the Templar warriors. The first action of those warriors was to trap Alex. She had developed a sort of friendship with the boy even though he was a vampire, but she had also learned to obbey since she was a kid. However, their acts were slowly mining her faith. They were in the middle of a battle against supernatural beings, but the Temple was acting on a 'kill first and ask later' basis. She eventually oppossed Lord D'Orence, their boss, and he sent her back to France. She was not a Cape Rouge anymore, she would just be used to give birth to new generations. That finally made it. Scarlet turned against the Temple and freed Alex. While they were escaping, she met a werewolf that recognized her as his kin. She felt bound to follow him and she left to the north of Maine, where he lived as a wolf. The man wanted to free the wolf in her and he almost did it. However, when they returned to NY, they were in the middle of a battle against the dragons. Dumas chose the dragons side and he served them. Scarlet decided to remain loyal to humans and she left him.
