We were in the presence of an angel
if only for a while
Her fathers excited "it's a girl"
made us all smile
and even though the time was short
she felt her father's pride
she heard her mothers voice
"your mommy's here Reanna"
and opened up her eyes

She saw her parents proud faces
and felt their love
Then she became an angel
in the Heavens above
for she was too beautiful
and pure for this life
and could only stay a while
A precious cherished angel
whos presence touched us all

this poem was written for Reanna by
her great aunt jan

Momma's little angel
precious little girl
sweetest little angel in the whole wide world
I will always love you
I will always care
And if God will let me
I'll always be there

my mother wrote this for me as a lullabye
and I sang it to Reanna
