| The Embassy – Mr Bluesman and I meet up with Kuba and Tess we all ditch our stuff and hang out in the lobby. I forget the order in which I met new ppl here…but there were new ppl and I did meet them that evening!! Lmao…Im not naming names because I know I will miss some ppl out!! However, special ppl to note here are Lora and Ted…..luv you guys!!! Whilst others went to the BBQ at Giants for the sound check, We ended up at the Stone Pony Party that night….and to be fair we had a really good time, the band were on form and ppl in the club were ‘up for a good night’. Introduce to the night JMV (HUGE HUGS), Sarah Kate, Lisa May, NJDeb and Dee. The night ended back at the hotel with talk of nekked table dancing (yep..that’s you Tess!!) and Luca realising that we are NOT normal….(hope we didn’t scare ya Luca!!!) Friday, Saturday and Sunday, not doing all these separately I would be here forever!! Again not doing the show reviews except to say awesome…..the second night at Giants has got to be the best show that I have seen. Some of you will not ‘get’ the some or all of the following points – I’m not explaining (deal with it) those who were guilty will understand. Main points to note. Troy turns up. OMG…what a guy, this dude is seriously funny and 10ft tall!!!!!! (ps…luv ya to bits hon!! – do you think they understand????lol) Kimmi turns up – huge hugs (pls don’t cry), love the bumper stickers, that video guy will never be the same again after seein our coach drive by!!!!! You rock hon J and a big ty!!!! Candy – so much candy that I think we had the US surplus candy mountain on the table in the room. Dental visits now needed for all concerned. NJDeb – can ya say Tequilla?? Or even look at it now??? Hehehe….. Jammin in the lobby – Ted, Mr Blues and Evan – thanks soooo much guys, you were awsome. We gotta pre-book you all for next time and add JMV (take it as carryon not checked next time!!) and Troy (no its NOT too far to bring it!!!) Video Cameras- JMV, MrBlues, Kuba – we wanna see the results!!! You taking orders yet? Rumour Island – either you are a native or you haven’t a clue what I’m on about!! Membership applications being taken – admittance only by approval from all existing members!! Cute shoes - You’ve got to have them…refer to MrBlues, Kuba and Ted for the criteria. Well D’uh Nothin more to say on that one. Singing We all need lessons with the exception of Tess, and we need to learn our words!!! Sleep - ok, explain this one to me…we were supposed to get some at some point????? Cuddles – again refer to MrBlues, Kuba and Ted ( perhaps some genetic engineering going on there??!!!) The Beds – how many ppl in one??? Evidence is to hand of at least 5 ppl – minimum of 2 required. This helps to recruit new members for the Island. Heads and Lips Were not designed to crash into each other…..Dee, next time I’m wearing a gum shield and you are having protective head gear!!! Leaving – The leaving thing sux…..big time…..do we have to?? (various ppl noted here for their quick exits to avoid the ‘tears thing’ – don’t blame yer….I didn’t want to leave either ) All in all an amazing week, made some wonderful friends (you know who you all are) can’t wait to see ya again!! |
