Symbolism: I am sitting on a bench that is engulfed in snake-like flames, and the ground underneath my bench is cracking. This reflects my environment when I was drawing the portrait. Joshua is watching over my shoulder and his wings represent the qualities he ownes that made me feel less worried when I was with him. Sometimes a guardian angel does little more than provide comfort, and it makes a world of difference.
