To Mom and Dad

There's a special place in Heaven
       for people such as you,
a place of praise and honor
for all the deeds you do:

   Your loving smile that wipes
away the pain you cannot see;
    the special way you create
         a world just for me.

Your love is unconditional.
    You never ask for pay
   your wisdom given freely
to guide me day by day.

No matter what the struggle,
you were always by my side.
You give me a sense of being,
  a family, home and pride

Words cannot express my thanks
for all the deeds you do.
There's a special place in Heaven
      for people such as you.
