Jules & Jackson

Here's a picture of Hank's boys, Jules & Jackson.
Hank is a friend of Mom's & Dad's, Mom used to work with him.
Mom said I would really like Hank because he's real funny and real nice.
All I can say is I know I'd like Hank, but I don't think I'd like his boys, they're
CATS! YUCK!

Tussie & Moppy

Here are some pictures of Tussie & Moppy.
They belong to my cousin Jacinda who lives in Pennsylvania.
I just love Jacinda sooooo much! She's so nice, and she's pretty too!
When she was visiting us, she'd let me give her hugs & kisses and
she'd let me sit on her lap any time I wanted to.

Crosby & Oliver

Here's Crosby & Oliver, they belong to my Mom's friend Sue.
I'm proud to tell you that Sue is my Honorary Aunt!!!
Mom and Aunt Sue used to work together, and Mom said they
had lots of laughs together and that made the workdays just fly by!

-- CATS AGAIN! --

(Oops! Mom told me I'm going to have to change my attitude about cats because
they're nice pets too, so I'll try because Mom knows best.)

Sadie & Maggie

Now those are two nice looking Dachshund girls, don't ya think!?!
Phew! I had a hard time spelling Dachshund!
Mom said they're also called Doxies or weiner dogs - now she tells me!
Sadie is the chocolate brown colored one and Maggie is the reddish/brown one.
Sadie & Maggie belong to Susan, another one of Mom's work friends.

Tigre & Skipper

Mom said these pictures are of our cousins Tigre & Skipper.
Tigre & Skipper belong to my Mom's most favorite aunt, Louise.
Mom told me that when she was a little girl, she wanted to be just like Louise.
(I was gonna ask her if that was a long time ago, but I decided not to!)

Liberty

Here's a picture of my friend Liberty playing in the water sprinkler!
Liberty loves to play in the water, which is a good thing because
she lives in Oregon and Mom and I heard it rains a lot there.
Mom told me all that rain is why Oregon is so beautiful & green.
Babs (Lib's Mom), has a webpage with some of her favorite people, pets,
places, & flowers on it. Click here to check out Babs' site.
Babs told us that Liberty also enjoys helping her with gardening,
weeding, pruning and harvesting onions and cucumbers.

Febe

Mom and I met two more new friends on the Internet, a Silky Terrier
named Febe and her Mom Jean. Febe and Jean are from Mississippi.
The first picture above shows Febe relaxing on the bed, and in the second
picture you can see that Febe enjoys some of the same hobbies that I do
ripping up toilet paper!
Febe is a very good watch dog, both at home and when she's traveling. She
will not put up with any nonsense from other dogs. Once, while she & her Mom
were vacationing in Tennessee, Febe let a Dalmation know that she was
Queen of the Hill when she was visiting in the area! Febe also has a good
sense of humor! Sometimes Jean will be sitting on the sofa wearing a
headband in her hair. Febe will climb up on the back of the sofa, pull
the headband out of Jean's hair, then take off running as hard as she can.

Pooh

Here are some pictures of my friend Pooh.
He's a Lhasa Apso and he used to be a registered show dog in his younger days!
Did you know that Lhasa Apso's are from Tibet and
they're known in Tibet as "Bark Lion Sentinel Dogs" and
they were used as police watchdogs? Click here if you'd like to read about them.

Pooh lived in a very abusive home until his Mom & Dad (Mel & Dino)
adopted him in 1990 when he was two years old.
Mel said sometimes he reverts back to when he was mistreated, but
he's a good boy most of the time.
(NOTE: Nobody in my house likes people who mistreat animals,
they're REAL BAD people! We're so happy that he has a good home now.)

Pooh loves to travel, he's been all over with his Mom & Dad.
Pooh has arthritis now and is blind, but
he's still handsome as you can see by his pictures.
He sleeps in his own bed but when he's feeling good
he likes to sit on the couch with his Mom & Dad.

My sister, Honey, told me that Pooh is her boyfriend not mine,
she said because they have a lot in common.
They are about the same age,
both have eye and hearing problems, and
they're about the same color.
That made me kinda mad when she said he's her boyfriend, but
I guess that's really okay with me
'cause I already have two boyfriends that I met on the Internet.

Guess what! Mel is making a web page of her crafts,
collectibles and friends! Click here to see it.
And Pooh now has his own page that he wrote himself, click here to see his page.

Spook

Spook was a mighty fine dog, he and his dad, Kevin,
had lots of fun together. Spook went fishin' with his dad, and
he went with his dad to check out job sites. Everyone in the whole
neighborhood was a friend of Spook's. One neighbor liked Spook so much
that he went out and got himself a Black Lab that looked just like Spook and
he named him Licorice! Spook liked Licorice a lot except
he didn't like Licorice coming over to his house when Kevin was home.
If Licorice came over to visit Spook when Kevin wasn't home, that was okay with Spook.
That makes perfect sense to me, I don't like it if another dog comes to
visit my Mom, after all, she's MY MOM and I don't want other dogs trying
to get her away from me!

One of the things I really admired about Spook was how he let
his Dad know when he was gone for too long. If Kevin was away
for vacation or something, Spook ripped up everything he
could get his paws on. He would get into the stereo cabinet and rip up the CDs
just enough so they were ruined. He also used to take all the covers,
sheets and pillows off Kevin's bed, and he'd take Kevin's shoes and
clothes and scatter them around too.

When Kevin was out of town, his Mom (my Auntie Bonnie) would
go over to Spook's house to feed him and play with him for a while.
Spook really loved to eat, but the first couple of times Kevin went
out of town, Spook would get so upset that he wouldn't eat anything.
So, Auntie Bonnie got him plain cheeseburgers from McDonald's or
tacos and refried beans from Taco Bell. That made Spook feel
a little better because he'd eat when he got his special food.

Spook was sixteen years old when he went to heaven,
he'd been with his Dad since he was a three week old pup.

Phoebe

This is Phoebe, a Chocolate Lab Rottweiler mix. She was
the last of her litter being given away in front of a Wal-Mart in
April 1999. If her dad, Tomás, hadn't adopted her, she would
probably have grown up to be a junkyard dog! She's named
after the Roman Moon Goddess. Her dad is in Hawaii going
to college and working, Phoebe lives in New Mexico with her
"grandparents". Phoebe does not like baths or being brushed
and she holds a grudge after being groomed. Phoebe is very
affectionate and friendly to her friends, but on her own terms.
She likes to be the boss among other dogs. She also knows
when she does something wrong, but she does it anyway, she's
a lot like me, I do what I want even if I shouldn't do it!

Sweetie

Sweetie (my new cousin), is a Yorkshire Terrier girl who lives in Missouri
with her new Mom, Lillian. Sweetie is 5 years old and she weighs 5 lbs., 7 oz.
She was adopted by Lillian from the St. Charles County Pet Adoption Center.
My Mom told me that Sweetie is a lucky dog because Lillian is
really nice and she loves dogs.

Sweetie is very sensitive to sounds, she's an excellent watch dog, and
always barks to let her Mom know when a visitor arrives. For exercise Sweetie runs
swiftly the full length of the house, then she leaps upon the highest level
of the divan or a chair. She also monitors the
bird feeders outside. Sweetie enjoys her dry pellets seasoned with
cheese or meat. She has her sleeper nest on her Mom's bed.
Lillian says she truly enjoys Sweetie's company.
When my Mom found out that Sweetie's very good at following instructions,
she told me I should try to be more like Cousin Sweetie and
mind her when she tells me to do something. I think Mom's got
a lot of nerve to suggest that to me, she knows I don't like being told what to do!!

Yogi

This is Yogi, she lives in Norwalk, California -- next door to my mom's friend Harry. I have never met Yogi, but I think we would be best friends, because she has a purple harness and a red dog tag -- just exactly like I have -- very good taste in accessories if you ask me. (My sister, Daisy, has a red harness and a red dog tag. Daisy's got no imagination or fashion sense, she doesn't know how to mix colors like Yogi and I do.)
