Hi Everybody!

This is our doggie recipe page that, my sister Honey, and I think is going to be a really big hit with all of our doggie friends, because it's going to be just recipes made specially for dogs (& other animals too)! If anyone has any really good recipes please send them to us and we will put them in this special section!

Our Auntie Sue gave us the idea for this wonderful recipe. Auntie Sue has cats so we figure she must make this wonderful turkey recipe a lot at her house. Honey & I put the recipe into our own words and we added the pictures. If you try the recipe and like it, send us an email telling us how you liked it!

Pansy

Liver "Brownie" Squares
2 lbs chicken livers
2 C corn meal
2 C wheat germ
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic (not salt)
1/2 C dried parsley

Blend the livers in food processor until pureed, pour into mixing bowl and add other ingredients. Mix until smooth like a brownie batter. Line a cookie pan (one with sides) with parchment paper then spread the liver mixture on top of the parchment paper until it's evenly spread. Bake at 350 F for about 35 minutes. When cool cut into squares, and store covered in the refrigerator.

Chicken & Turkey Treats
2 large jars chicken-flavored junior baby food
4 cups cooked ground turkey
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup cheddar cheese cracker crumbs
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 medium onion, minced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
additional crushed cheddar cheese cracker crumbs

Mix all ingredients and roll into balls, 1/2" in diameter (or bigger for bigger dogs). Roll balls into additional cracker crumbs. Place on wax paper lined baking sheet and freeze until solid. Transfer to freezer bags and store until ready to use.

When it's treat time, take out as many frozen treat balls as needed, place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts. Or you could heat the treats in a microwave until cheese is melted.

Here's a recipe from our doggie friend, Poonch. It sure sounds good to us, we're hoping Mom will help us make it soon. It comes complete with recommendations about what to serve with the chicken and Poonch does let us know it's not an easy recipe to make (some cooks won't give you helpful hints like that!).

Poonch's Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
10 flour cups
1 fat chicken
2 bottle of catsup
1 egg

Instructions:
You mix those ingredients and put them in the oven for five minutes.

Recommendation:
I recommend with chips on the side.

Warning:
This recipe is hard to make so if it is not tasty it is not my fault.
