from Christmas Room. Do you know that only in Japan, people eat decorated cakes similar to this one for Christmas? The rest of the world eat brown fruit cakes with rum. But to be very honest with you, this kind of fruit cake does not taste good and not a lot of people like it. The same kind of fruit cake is also used to be a traditional gift for wedding attendance. This fruit cake will be left forgotten in each individual's house until it is hard and dry. Then, this poor cake will be thrown into the garbage. Sad, huh? This is the reason why before I got married, my fiance (now my hubby) was strongly against to have fruit cake of any kind as part of our wedding souvenir.
