FOOD
Cavies love food.  They're always begging for treats and their daily veggies.  There are numerous things out there for your cavy to snack on and each has his/her own taste and some cavies can be VERY picky.  Here's a list:

Timothy Hay- This is a great snack for your cavy.  It aids their digestion, is healthy, and fun for them to chew on.  It makes them feel more like 'wild' cavies foraging for food.  Normal hay isn't good for guinea pigs because it is hard and they could poke themselves in the eyes while eating it.
Alfalfa- This is not a suitable snack for cavies.  It can cause urinary tract problems.
Salt and Mineral Licks- Cavies do not need these.  They can cause urinary tract problems and many cavies lick them out of pure boredom.
Pet Store Snacks-
These are also fun for piggers.  There are many different things you can give them.  Yogurt Dropstm, Orange Dropstm, Happy Dino Treattm, Veggie O'stm, Corn Slimstm, Carrot Slimstm, seed honey sticks (not too often-seeds can make piggies fat), etc.
Small, Unflavored Dog Biscuits-
Cavies love and need to chew on things so these are a great snack.  (I'm pretty sure cavies are not fond of liver-flavored biscuits)
Veggies-
Cavies need to have supplements to their regular diet and they need to get vitamin C daily.  They should be fed veggies every day.  This should NOT be the main source of their food--their guinea pig pellets should be.  Most cavies love carrots, lettuce (leaf only, not iceburg), celery, broccoli, califlower, spinach, cucumber, and green pepper (VERY LITTLE).  DO NOT feed them cabbage as it can give them gas (so can green pepper).
Fruits-
All animals have a sweet tooth and cavies are no exception.  They love fruits.  They like apples, grapes (seedless and skinless), raisins, bananas, pears, tangerines, oranges, cantalope, and strawberries.

REMEMBER:
This is to supplement your cavy's diet.  They should not be overfed.  Obesity is not healthy.  They should be fed veggies once a day.  Use snacks sparingly.
