10-4-06 -- Nan Desu Kan 10 is this weekend! Needless to say, we're very excited here at The Chateau. As was mentioned in the Myspace outpost, our lovely R&D girls perfected the streaming audio techniques, so our ability to broadcast live has been estabilished. In honor of NDK being a mere two days away, Princess Army will be playing a short noise set tonight. Also expect Princess Army to broadcast on a semi-regular schedule. We also wish to promote a platform for creative expression here; our hope being that we can convince our local allies to take part in future shows, the Chateau being a small hub of noise/experimental/etc in Boulder. Now, I have some Skyforger to listen to.

9-1-06 -- Upon sucessfully relocating Princess Army HQ to our secret mountain fortress, our huge super computers (complete with useless spinning reel-to-reels) were finally rebooted. There are only 6 more days until the release of Boku no Pico. We will add links to our new allies in due time. Our comrades in arms have grown ten-fold through the establishment of our Myspace Outpost. We still have many things in the pipes, perhaps something will even come out soon! ^__^

4-3-06 -- Let's see... The split tape with Cunts is out on Shit-Eye Cassettes. In addition, a split CD-R ep with Eating Chemicals just came out yesterday!

2-21-06 -- Played live for the third time a couple weeks ago at a lame open-mic night. Only lasted 2 minutes due to extreme awkwardness!!

1-13-06 -- Whoa, it's Friday the 13th. I have been listening to way too much Animetal the past few days. It'd be great if I had a webcam or something... As long as I am in front of the computer, I am rocking pretty hard; striking ridiculous metal poses and constantly pumping my fist and such while singing the lyrics to Mazinger Z and saying "Tatakae!!" every 30 seconds. I'm in the process of adding even more links, mostly to bands this time. Ones I have neglected for too long. Even though I am doing all this housekeeping, and embarassingly minding my Myspace, I am actually working on my new tracks too! ^_______^

Also, earlier this week, I discovered Matjaz's webpage (see my links)! This really made me happy - when I was first getting into noisecore, I was kindly given some tapes of his and have ever since considered him a hero of sorts. I am happy to hear he's still around and even more active than ever! Yay!!!!!!

1-3-06 -- Holy new year! Let's get Chekov'ed! Well, let me see... Lobster Assault played a reunion show this past Friday. My spacebar isn't working very well... Hey, I wonder what happened to that Malaysian DnB unit called Spacebar... I am gonna look for them right now!

ANYWAYS! We played a show in an insanely dirty house! Photos up soon... Also, while I am on the subject, Princess Army opened the whole thing off with some terrible noise! It took me a long time to get into a groove mixing between straight noise and sample manipulation... the fact I was using some new eqipment like the ever-popular-with-noise-kids walkmen distortion probably didn't help the fact I didn't know what the hell I was doing.... but yeah, the last 15-20 minutes were pretty cool. 12-25-05 -- While I was looking for ridiculous pictures of Rob Darken this morning, I discovered, much to my joy and amazement, that an artist, Peter Beste has done an exhibition of photographs of celebraties in the Norwegian Black Metal community! Weird, no? It's funny to look at some of the photographs (mostly of the Gorgoroth guy) and though they are similar to their publicity shots for albums and stuff, they carry that "artisic weight", simply because they were taken by this guy... meh, I could write more about that, but I have to eat dinner. Here's a nice Japanese site for it too: HERE.

I've added more links. Most of them to artists' sites and such. I'm still working on Princess Army stuff. Listening to Space Streakings and a 30-second clip of Yukari Fresh have certainly helped.

Well, Thanks whoever you are... unless you're animation studios who found me and are ready to unleash your unstoppable hordes of lawyers upon the world. Can The Princess Army and its battalions of scantily-clad love soldiers defend its right to blatantly steal samples from anime and basslines from Japanese indie bands?!?!?!?! I finally caved in, thanks mostly to the ol' Rev at FMD, and got a gaymyspace page for PAWC (here). Now, I'll just wait for people on the Relapse boards to find me and make fun of my unhealthy fixation on bespectacled lolitas! Right on!

11-17-05 -- There should be another short EP coming out soon. I sent off the 4 tracks, but haven't finished the cover art yet.

We've been working on more tracks utilizing various sound sources and recording means... I've been pretty happy with the new stuff, even if it sounds a lot like the other stuff ^____^

Princess Army t-shirts are nearing completion! All I need to do is buy a new silk-screen... I'll post a pic of the design within the next couple days... more updates soon...

It's hard for me to be on top of everything that happens within the subculture, and I have witheld plenty of choice links in the past months, but I would like to offer snippets of random fandom more often. In the past several days, Research and Development has broken new ground on the speak and spell device we acquired. I just thought I would show off their efforts...

Even in its incomplete state (not all the wires are soldered), I've sampled quite a bit from it already... so expect it all to be buried beneath lots of lame guitar and gabber beats! YES!

7-14-05 -- Well, They Might Be Giants was pretty sweet. They did play that there "Experimental Film" song... and that Instanbul one too, and a bunch of other random stuff I had never heard before. When they did they get two vocalists? I still love the geeky, keyboard-playing guy. HEE HEE!

I guess I forgot to mention I saw Melt Banana a while ago. Agata is now my favorite guitarist. I spent most of the show enthralled by his noise wankings.

The split with Cunts is becoming the split with Napalm Death is Dead. How will my techno-silliness fare against such a relentless noisecore assault?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

7-9-05 -- Goin' to see They Might be Giant Tonight. They better at least jokingly play some of Tropical Lazor Beams or I'll explode the venue with my angerness. Seriously though, maybe they'll play Particle Man or something 'cos I just haven't heard enough of them yet.

The Princess Army Audio Production Division is back in almost full swing. R&D has provided us with several new things to play with, though uh, Operation Circuit-Bend has been temporarily halted due to me being in a reading intensive history class. the Symposium of Sexiness could start any day now... need contributions...

6-20-05 -- X-TREME UPDATES! Well, first off, the split tape with Cunts is due out in July. Second, the old 5 minutes of material that was supposed to be on the split with Assface has been (re)released along with some stuff from Melophobic Hell on Fuck Music Prod. Also, I think that the split tape with Xephonzilla is also out! My songs for it suck pretty hard 'cos I just discovered the contact mic and went nuts with that... What else what else...

I FINALLY got around to circuit bending a couple kids toys I bought a couple years ago. They're really bad compared to what I see these folks doin' on the internet, but still, not too shabby. Also managed to find (or rather my mom managed to find) a nicely used Speak n Spell for the ultimate wannabe circuit bender stance. RAWK!... I'll probably add some more links that pertain to this stuff...

I'm in the process of adding several dreams I have transcribed in emails over the last several months... I think about 5 of 'em...

Got the 2nd collection of pictures from Fruits magazine the other day. Hot damn, I love this stuff! The fashion scene here is so stagnant; I wish I had the gall to get dressed up in the same kind of outlandish stuff, though I would probably get beat up if I did.

FINALLY, I AM MAKING THIS BOLD 'cos I have been brewing up a "Symposium of Sexiness" (oh so clever Carcass reference, no?) that would be held here. It's still in it's infancy, but I hope to do a semi-coherent rant about what gets my sap rising when dealing with anime girls (specific characteristics in design, hair, accessories, personality, situations, whatever!). I also invite anyone who comes here who has any interest in anime girls to write me, submit visual examples, rant about your favorite imaginary anime girlfriends, etc. Consider this an opportunity to flex these geeky muscles of ours! Revel in otakudom! And if no one writes, it's gonna be just me going off on thigh-high stockings pinching girlies' skin for about a million years...

3-26-05 -- Well! Back once again. I'd make outrageous claims about the Cunts split being finally done and work progressing on... ah hell, I'll do it any ways: The Cunts split is just about done, despite my disliking the pseudo techno-noise sound I got... huge disclaimers of how it's my "Experimental Excursion" will be all over it. That and the Xephonzilla split, which will hopefully be out soon, will be my "creative" sidesteps; next splits are a journey back, tail between my legs, to true otaku-noise-grind like it used to be...

In more personal news, I recently had the honor seeing both GWAR and Guitar Wolf! GWAR was great, as expected... last time I saw 'em was back in '99... The blood was possibly thinner, but I was drenched. Blah blah...

Guitar Wolf was the best freakin' show I have been to probably! Not only did I totally embarass myself talking infantile Japanese to their lil' stagehand/helper guy and Basswolf, but uh, I got horrible bruises on my shins from being mashed up against the stage... man, being all up in their faces was so great. And the finale, after about two hours of non-stop rocking, was priceless... I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen 'em yet... so I'll just say: ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!!

Well, saw the first episode of the new Doctor Who series... hot damn it was good... like my friend Nate said, it lacks a certain charm of the old ones, but is still Dr. Who... Man, I am so excited about seeing the new daleks... so excited I had to Dr. Who related dreams this past week... Which I have documented in the Rant section.. Enjoy!

2-8-05 -- Heard Ward Churchill speak earlier this eve. Very cool talk. It's amazing how the media has blown what he said all out of proportion. Hell, even I had the wrong idea about what he presumeably said (that's what I get for not staying informed.. blahblahblah). It was great though, summing up his views with something along the lines of "The U.S. needs to abide by the same rules everyone else in the world." I'm probably being short-sighted, but that seems to be the solution to a lot of the problems in the world. But enough about that, seeing as I don't know what the hell I am talking about, check out Moshzilla and support a HC moshpit-bred meme!

Oh yeah, thanks to the anime club, I've gotten a chance to see Bastard!! again. And that means getting to see/hear the awesome metal references again! Lead me to seek out This Site to literally CATCH THEM ALL! Holy awesome - Napalm Death, King Diamond, Bathory, etc. AWESOME!

2-3-05 -- Split material for Cunts is finally being assembled! Doing cassette to cassette editing is hard, yo! Next on the agenda is probably the split with Primitive Lungs...? I am thinking of doing another concept album about the Anime Love dating service... possibly starting an account and using what people say (or don't say) as source material... also, I am thinking about doing something about Alisa-chan and her glorious selling out to non-anime related softcore/tease stuff! What does foam-haired Derek have to say about Alisa showing her boobies to the internet?!?!?! AAAAH! ALLLLRIGHT!

1-4-05 -- I finally opened up the lil' distro I have been meaning to start. It's very small and sucky now, but hopefully things will grow. PAWC patches and t-shirts are my next projects for it. DIY, cheap, awesome and yeah!

1-1-05 -- Well, a new year has begun. To ring in the new year, I wanna talk about Leela's nipple. Y'know, Leela from Doctor Who. Well, not so much talk about it, as just post a picture I ran across in my travels looking for pics of the cute companions of that asexual time-hobo, the Doctor. 4-15-04 -- OKAY - Melt-Banana was last night and it rocked my socks off! Truly one of the best shows I've been to. Well, the Melt Banana part was; the Fantomas who were headlining were only okay. Since I had never heard them before, I kinda thought they sounded like the Boredoms, just not as awesome. But yeah, MxBx were totally rockingly mega-awesome! YAY! I gotta get off on my ass here and finish the PAWC stuff!

3-24-04 -- Still workin'...should be done with the stuff for the Earwigs split by the end of Spring Break.. including all the intros and whatnot...! The only other thing worth mentioning is that I have spooged my pants a million times already just THINKING about seeing Melt-Banana next month! OHOHOHOHOHOHO!

3-18-04 -- Still workin' on material for all the splits n' stuff!! Since next week is Spring Break, I hope to finish up at least all the Earwigs stuff and get that out, the remainder of the Primitive Lungs stuff will follow.. blah blah.... Rumor has it that before the Earwigs split (if that actually happens!), a split with some unknown band, Primitive Lungs, is on the agenda.. it should be a long one... so that means lots of uninspired and poorly executed harsh noise tracks about the wonderous lolitas and their little striped panties ^_^;;;;;;

11-04-03 -- So, I am walking home from class today and this random SUV driving near me honks a few times... they go on ahead to a traffic light and I catch up. They honk again and I look over. The window rolls down and some guy and some girl whom I have never seen before wave and motion me to approach. So, of course I take a few steps forward trying to figure out who the hell these people are. They smile and the girl says "hey, we just wanted to say we think you're really cute!". So that was too damn awesome. For about 3 or 4 hours afterwards, I was just floatin' around all happy and stuff. Best thing is they probably were joking... but then again.. who knows! AHHH! Maybe I'll wear my awesome tight sweater more often... too hot to handle too cold to hold ^__^ This should be in the rant section..

9-2-03 -- Yesterday, the first of September, marks the triumphant return of Ecchi Attack! It's good to have the hentai-related funny back in action. As always, the work on everything is going according to plan, and I am sure no one who ever comes here cares about that.

8-25-03 -- First day of classes.. meh, could be worse I suppose. In a magnificent coincidence, I got an email from Lord Vacuum about having a spot on a compilation tape. And got an email from Armpit Toast Enterprises about being on a compilation 7"! So that's very awesome of them both! Of course work still progresses on the Akaknue split. I finally decided the Vagina Laser Girls songs (the focus of my side) are gonna be the (short) harsh noise (or power electronics or whatever) tracks... there'll be about 20 of those. The other, what I am hoping will be about 40-50, other tracks are standard PAWC noisecore, and yeah, it should be fun n noisy to the max.

8-19-03 -- Returned from a vacation in New Hampshire. Nice to be back to my hentai! Before I go furiously jerk to pics of Sasami, I am gonna say, uh, that you should watch out for the split with Akaknue sometime soon. Despite what I said in the interview, it just might be a tad more harsh noise than noisecore this time around. Or it might just be half harsh and half noisecore or maybe even harsh noisecore.. hehehehe! Either way, it'll have cute intros, and that's all that counts, right? Probably updated the Haruko Shrine too... look and find out I guess.

7-30-03 -- Pretty obvious, but I changed the boring black and white to really fruity pastels! Supreme Grimness Has Been Attained!

7-24-03 -- Probably gonna redo the pictures section with more scary cosplay girls. Maybe even break it into like, scary cosplay, random paintshopped pictures and.. something else...

7-21-03 -- So, I am getting my ticket for Opeth at the local record shop, and the cute girl behind the counter is playing something metal... so I intentionally stick around to look at her and try to figure out what she's listening to. After I thought I had figured it out, I go up to the counter. I am all rico-suave and ask "what'chu got goin' here? Is this In Flames?"... I totally didn't impress her at all 'cos it was actually Dark Tranquility she was playing. HAHAHAHA! Yeah, I was close, but she didn't seem to care. I guess my anime t-shirt didn't help... this should be on the rant page, but whatever. Maybe I can woo some girls at the comic shop while wearing an Emperor shirt... aye aye aye! ^_____^

7-20-03 -- Princess Army to appear on the Ecchi-Aid benefit cd with a longish (2 minute!) industrial-noise piece. Pretty groovy. Being on the cd, not the song... hehehehe!

6-19-03 -- Let's see, the Haruko Shrine has been written in and boy is it fruity. My counter broke the 1000 mark a few days ago, probably from me checking the site to see if people signed the guest book, Mark, and random anime fans who have come to the site by accident... so expect a poorly drawn "1000 hits thanx" picture soon...hehehehe... OH and the important news: the stuff for the Groyxo split is done and has been sent off to The Rev, so the split should be out pretty damn soon! More info soon. Now if you'll excuse me, I have 8 year old Samurai Pizza Cat tapes to watch!

5-31-03 -- Groyxo is done with his material for the split! Since I cheated and did a 3 minute long noise track, I am about half done. So yeah, watch for it!

5-6-03 -- Well, the main site of Ecchi Attack did indeed shut down. Nobody knows if or when the site will reopen. In the meantime, there's always the forum... Well, got my copy of the BOD x PAWC split! BOD's stuff is excellent! Love the long drawn out intros that are hard to figure out! not to mention the noise and the grind and the RAAAAAARRR! The split with Groyxo is GO! the other two projects (10-way & split with Akaknue) are still up in the air. Now that summer is starting, I will have a lot of time to work on this stuff... also add more dumb stuff to the site... arrgh!

4-29-03 -- Ecchi Attack may be shutting down soon. It's sad to see such a good site go down for the count. Where will I get my daily supply of bad hentai?

4-27-03 -- The anime club's 12 hour marathon was yesterday. With that and the showing from friday, we finished 4 series! That makes me feel like I really accomplished something! Some new splits may or may not take shape -- one with Japan's Groyxo, part of a 10-way with,uh, some bands.. and a split with some noise unit called Akaknue... we'll see though. Also, Anthony of Napalm Suck is back with a vengence. Maybe this time I will get my Lobster Assault split from him! ^_^

4-11-03 -- OKAY OKAY OKAY! The Basket of Death x Princess Army split cd-r is OUT! Get it from Fecal Matter Discorporated! THIS I COMMAND!!!!!!!!!!

4-8-03 -- The Basket of Death x Princess Army split will be out in a week (?)on Fecal Matter Discorporated... 8 songs from BOD and 65 from myself... 40 minutes of anime/hentai noise/grind!

I should be done by the end of the week... I have added a bunch of new links 'cos I am bored... a lot of J-Pop links to really prove how much of a fag I am.. ^______^ minnasan, mata ne!

1-21-03 ---- The Ultimate Onslaught comp is out on Fecal Matter Discorporated! Be sure to pick it up... 46 bands... total wacky brutal insanity! lots of cult bands like all of Steveggs projects, Noism, Butcher ABC, etc etc.. so yeah.. do that! oh yeah, I have 30 seconds on it... YES! awesome! Not much else... watch out for the split with Assface.. and a little later the split with Basket of Death.... HONEY FLASH!

1-1-03 -- Wow, it's 2003, I don't care at all!!!! Since there is no site for Kill Gabe Stohl (i.e.-- the other band I am in with real human beings!), I thought I would use Princess Army's space to make this known: we played our New Years gig to end all gigs tonight! I don't think it can get any better than this gig we played: At some punks' house... punks who had discovered punk music about 2 months ago... so I think that point speaks for itself... they were pretty "anarchy in the UK" ifyaknowwhatimean! Not only did we have their black and strobe lights to help out the severe blasting mess, we had guest guitarist, Danny, in a robot-suit, Will in my cloak with a 3-foot upsidedown cross dangling from his neck and me in my grim reaper mask! Mike and Seth didn't have anything, but they kick enough ass to not need costumes... hehehehehe! It ruled beyond belief... so we proceeded to smash the state, and have some hot hot punk rock love and all that good stuff... oh yeah, everyone was drunk.. which probably helped... ha ha, 'cept me.. I am a crazy sXe'er, y'know... so I just kinda stood around for a while before we left... despite being horribly depraved/deprived, I found the punk chicks in their bobby-pinned tartan mini-skirts to be pretty dull... It was a lil' too "punk rawk" for me.. and that's sad.. especially when I wear my vest... but I am all about emo chicks.... maybe not their music.. I wouldn't know.. but petite emo chicks (WITH GLASSES!!!!) are just the best thing ever! So yes... I was TOTALLY surprised I didn't get swarmed by girls after we played... they must realize that my secret to being a blaster-master is that I masturbate furiously to poorly drawn Card Captor Sakura dojin... well, they don't know about the dojin, but they must realize that I jerk off a lot.. heh heh.. gee, I have gone off on a tangent... getting back to the original intent of this ---> the gig was absolutely great! We were grinding machines.. people hated us... punks got drunk... robot suit... 3-foot upsidedown cross... that's all you need to know! So onto Princess Army news.. of which there is none... The Assface split is not out yet... which is disappointing... once it comes out, I need to start handing it out to girls on campus with my phone-number written on the tape insert.. HA HAA! that's great... uh, yeah... so yeah.. I am working pretty steadily on the material for the godly split with Basket of Death... these guys are gods... I can't wait for this... see the next news brief for the lowdown on that... I have about 40 tracks done now... I need about 150 more and a buncha anime intros to fill 20 minutes... that means it's gonna be GOOD! So yes, that's the update... too bad no one goes to this site.. but hell, ya never know... ja ne!

12-21-02 -- ...Got Basket of Death's "Reverse Bukkake" cd-r today in the mail! Thanks Sean! Matjaz (Fuck-U-Tapes) still hasn't contacted Justin alias Lord Vacuum (is that still your moniker?!?) regarding the split tape, but I am sure it'll be out soon! (As I know all my ADORING FANS WORLDWIDE ARE IN EAGER ANTICIPATION OF THIS MOMENTOUS RELEASE!)... Also, the Basket of Death x Princess Army split is on: ALL SYSTEMS GO! This should be just as good as this Assface x PAWC split!! Apparently, it's gonna be 40 minutes between us (that's A LOT of anime samples!), so I need to get cracking... Makes me wish my computer had a bigger hard drive to keep my fruity break beats and blasts and stuff... X_X

In other news, my otaku buddy hooked me up with a copy of FLCL! YAHOO!... Geocities... FUCK.. sorry..uhhh... YIPPEE!! *flashbacks of Star Wars I*... UGH! forget it.. I am just really happy to have it... saw it a while back fansubbed... it's recently been released domestically in the U$, but they're putting two episodes on each disc... a fuckin' rip-off!...it's a damn good series though... short but oh-so-sweet...and I got it for free! EXCELLENT! *guitar solo*... I predict that this BOD split will have many songs dedicated to my honey Haruko... that is if I actually have song titles... 12-2 -- Well! First off, the split still isn't out... to be honest, I dunno what's goin' on with it. But I am more than confident with the brains behind it, so I'll letcha know when it comes out. In other news, Ogre Snot Gurgle (a.k.a.- Sean) of Fecal-Matter Discorporated is in the midst of putting together a whacked out wild compilation... it originally was supposed to be a 100+ gore/porn/noise/grind band thingy, but that kinda fell through, so now it's a all-out free for all! there's bands of all kinds there! And this comes to Princess Army... 3 tracks.. 30 seconds... and the intros actually make sense! So I'll letcha know what happens with that! Check out the NEW links page (which is basically all the grind bands on the Lobster Assault page just pasted on a new thing) and go to Fecal-Matter Discorp. great freakin' site! and if you're in some band and somehow managed to find my stupid site, be sure to bag a spot on the comp! the more bands and the crazier the styles, the better the comp! Also, there is the possibility of a split tape with the godly BASKET OF DEATH! it does seem like an appropriate pairing... I would wee wee my pants if the split actually happened! To share a tape with the formidible and mysterious ecchi yakuza lords... *drool*... But first things first, I still wanna see the Assface x Princess Army split.. it's something I have been eagerly anticipating for a while now! 10-19 -- The Princess Army x Assface split is even closer to being a reality! HURRAH! I sent my side off to Lord Vacuum earlier this week. He should be getting today or Monday! In other news, I recently stole about 25 pics from NDK6, since I am far too lazy to scan my OWN pics. I'll put those up as soon as I have some time... Like NOW maybe! ha ha!

9-22 -- Nan Desu Kan 6 is over! It was a freakin' blast! I haven't had that much fun, nor had so many girls hug me in a LONG time! Con report is in the Rant section! ... oh yeah, and the Split should be ready SOON! bye now!

9-11-02 *gasp* -- YEAH, whatever... Well, as far as I know, the split tape between Princess Army and Assface is GO!... my stuff is *just* about done... 35 tracks... longest track is 8 seconds without intro.. speaking of which, I need a lot of intros... and need to draw some cover art... like I said, it is gonna be about 10 minutes between us, and FREE ('cept for shipping! Sending shit outta Slovenia can't be easy!)... Second, Nan Desu Kan 6 (the annual Anime Convention in Denver) is NEXT WEEKEND! I am so excited... being a complete dork, I am cosplaying as Saionji from Utena... um, expect a full con-report and maybe pics if I can break into the art depts' computer lab...

8-26 -- School started today! OHMYGOD! Second, my guitar decided to die, so Princess Army is on hiatus until I can fix it... there still may be enough material done for the split tape... we'll see!

8-11 -- NEWS ON THE MARCH! The so-called "demo" may be postponed for a while... 'cos Lord Vacuum has been talking with Matjaz of Fuck-U-Tapes. I guess Matjaz is willing to release a split of Princess Army and L. Vacuum's project, Assface!!!! That's like big-time underground noisecore cultus maximus! should be only a 10 minute long tape, and will be FREE! so the 30 some-odd tracks i have already done will just go toward this split! EXCELLENT!

7-27 -- Well, the site is starting to shape up... Don't expect it to look much better or have much more stuff though... this is wicked underground... HA HA.. to make it even more underground, I should have the site not work... like the Warsore site... very cult... people typed up the broken link on their pages even though they knew it didn't work! ^_^
