"The Extra Man"
Goren: “No wallet, just an international drivers license. With a really bad picture. Denis Dupont, Paris France, 33.”
Eames: “The maid said he was good looking. This makes him look like all three of the 3 stooges.”
Deakins: “I’m heading upstairs for a Comstat. Any breaking news on Dupont to liven up my presentation?”
Goren: “DMV shows an address for his assistant Felix Perez.”
Deakins: “Progress.”
Goren: “The building was torn down last year, Felix didn’t leave a forwarding address.”
Deakins: “Thank you.”
Goren: “Give me your license and registration.”
Drivere: “What’s the problem, officer?”
Goren: “You’re parked too close to the hydrant.”
Driver: “I thought the rule was 15 feet?”
Goren: “You look about 14 feet to me.”
Carver: “Charge them for a murder they didn’t commit? Of a person who isn’t dead? I can’t begin to count the number of violations that would entail. ”
Deakins: “I don’t know about you, but I do not like being made a fool of.”
Deakins: “That Santini from the Ledger?”
Goren: “Yeah, don’t worry. I mentioned your name.”
Dupont: “Nice to put a voice to the name.”
Goren: “10 to 1 he’ll call back. He has something to prove to me now.”
Carver: “10 to 1?”
Eames: “I’ve taken him on before, Mr. Carver. I’m down 18 bucks.”
Goren: “Put your hands on the back of your head! Sit down, sit down!!”
Goren: “Can I have a bitters and soda?… Trying to quit drinking.”
Dupont: “Maybe Happy Hour is not the best place for you.”
Goren: “Nice to put a face to the voice.”
Dupont: “You have the wrong man.”
Goren: “I don’t think so.”
Goren: “Someone to teach you how to ride a bike. Two people to think you’re special. It makes a difference.”
Carver: “Some people get by on a lot less.”
Goren: “They shouldn’t have to.”
