Was sup! thanks for longing on.
A volcano is a vent in the Earth's surface that often is forms a mountain when layer of lava and volcanic ash erupts and builds up. Most of the volcano on Earth are doormat, which means it is not active at this time , but about 600 are active. Active spew smoke, steam, ash, cinders, and lava. Magma is formed inside Earth core by rocks melting by heat and pressure.
Y do volcanoes erupt? Magma is less dense than the rock around it. Magma is slowly pushed up to  the Earth surface. After many years magma reaches earths surface and flows out though an opening called a vent. When lava flows out it  cools very fast and becomes solid. Which forms layers of igneous rock around the vent. The steep walled depression around a volcano's vent is the crater.
Volcanoes form in 3 kinds of places that are related to the movement of earths Plates. Volcanos occur where plates are moving apart and together and places called Hot spots. There are many examples of volcanos around the world. Some examples are Iceland, Mount Saint Helen's, and Hawaii.

Mt. Fuji 35o21'N, 138o43'E

Mt. Fuji is the highest rising place in Japan. It is 3776m above sea level its cone is 50 km across and at the base. The summit of the volcanos is 500 m across as much as 250m deep in side it. The last time it erupted was in 864 A.D. The new Mt. Fuji lies on top of old Mt. Fuji.
This is the result of it's complex history. In stead of being one structure, the volcano is actually a group of superposed cones. Fuji is made up of two different volcanoes. It is sleeping volcano which means it is not active but it could be.

                Mount St. Helen's

Mount St. Helen's is known as the Fuji of America. It is similar to Mt. Fuji in Japan.
Before it blew up it was the tallest peak in the Cascade Range. It is 9677 ft tall it was the 5th tallest in Washington. The width of the cone is about 4 miles.
The pre-erupttions landscape was like a forest and had clear streams and lakes. The land around the volcano was like a forest. When it erupted ash covered the land and killed everything. After a couple of weeks plants and animals were living there again.
