Hualalia is the hawaiian islands third
most active volcano and the third most youngest volcano in the islands.
This volcano was covered by lava 5,000 years ago. The volcano is said to
have caused most of the earthquakes because of its instability of its young
age, the crust on the volcano is thinner than the other older volcanoes
on the other islands.
The volcano is 8,271 feet up above sea level,
which will tell you that it is young for a volcano that was erupting 300,000
years ago or less, below sea level. People think that it will erupt in
a few decades, in the mean time people there will enjoy the scenery until
it erupts again.
