Mount Saint Helens is located in Washington.  It is the most  popular volcano in the united states.  It is currently known to be inactive.  The volcano is a tourist atraction for many peaple and a place to study volcanoes.  To see live pictures of the volcano click here .
               The volcano erupted in 1980.  After the eruption it hardend and cooled down once again and there is a crater at the top. It is still climable now and hopefully will be for a long time.  Right before the eruption peaple were probably still climing it. When the volcano erupted it blew a cubic mile out of its crater and now it hasn't come back. More Mount Siant Helens stuff .           .
