Nic created an uproar in the media world today when he openly said that TVB was the most disgraceful media in Hong Kong. He is probably one of the first celebrities to openly speak their minds and criticize the media. In an official response, TVB said that they would have nothing to do with Nic whatsoever, which means that fans will not be seeing Nic anytime soon on any TV shows. Also, none of Nic’s songs will be in TVB’s JSG awards.

The owner of EEG tried to calm the rift between TVB and Nic by his comments, but TVB has said that they will stand firm on their decision and not have any dealings with Nic. At a recent HK radio ‘sun’ function, Nic and five other TV stars were present. TVB purposely did not shoot Nic and replaced his song "Yat gig chit chong" with Candy Lo’s "Sum Lam." Nic has had nothing to say about TVB’s doings.
