Prosecutor's office gets bomb threat
AMBON, Maluku: The Maluku Prosecutor's Office received a bomb threat Wednesday
morning that turned out to be a hoax.
The caller said a bomb would explode in 15 minutes. The bomb threat, however, was
not immediately reported to the police and many employees were not even aware of
the call.
Office spokesman Nuni Triana confirmed the bomb threat, saying several officials were
then assigned to secure the office, although it was decided not to inform all the
employees so as not to cause panic.
She said the office would look into whether the threat was linked to the cases being
handled there. -- JP
