An upgrade to the Virgo's, the Virgo II removes the built-in beam cannon, but doubles the amount of planet defensors. Near the capabilities of the original five Gundams, the Virgo II's can be controlled via a system similiar to the Zero system, which randomizes their movements and provides a strategy to attain victory. However, the Virgo II's still are best used from a range, having no close range combat weapons, they rely on planet defensors to protect them.
Weapon Analysis:
2x beam saber - never seen in use
1x beam rifle - lacking the power of the original Virgo's beam cannon, this weapon equals out with a faster rate of fire, and retaining the ability to destroy enemy units with a single blast, with a possible exception being the upgraded Gundams.
8x planet defensor - stored 4 on each shoulder, a lone Virgo II can now completely protect itself from every side. The main function of the planet defensors has not changed since their use of the original Virgo's.
Optional Weapon Analysis:
1x beam cannon - being equal to the Virgo's beam cannon, this cannon has all the power needed to potentially destroy even a Gundam. |
