Whew! Sorry this isn't going to be as 'pretty' as you are used too but I'm frantically trying to get the last of the needed files off AOL and have discovered I must leave AOL before signing on Compuserve...go figure!

Regaurdless the regular news, though possibly late, will be its normal self and is well on its way to complete with even more great developments, my normal (???) editorial and the ever present freebie at the bottom!

"The last shall be first" in this issue simply because it seems to make better sense that way. I really had hoped to put an end to my patriotic ravings at last weeks end but read on! These were noted in some high places and will be of great benefit to our Union!

In the 'let's help our fellow Founders category' please take a look at the updates I've made in Handbook of the Union Knights (http://www.oocities.org/lordmontahon/ms.html) and scroll down to Section III2e. There are 5 MMRPG games, 4 of which are free and 1 is $5/mo after 90 free days. Join us in the fight against oppression either as a Union Knight or alone...we are just getting started but it is GREAT fun chasing PK 'gangs' in those arenas as a unified and trained group! Also share them with your players and/or add them to your websites!

We have a new sponsor, straight from the Pentagon! Seems my rousing patriotic 4th of July newsletter was seen by some of the right people!Union (for those who have seen the Tavern and not the Website) exists as a 'clearing house' of several 'player friendly' RPG games in a very unique setting...you move from town to city over the countryside into space through dimensions...everywhere finding new RPG's with distinct sets of rules and 'transformations' even our dragons must go through!

We welcome new games and are praised by the number of hits each gets simply because part of our 'Nation' proper's Knights' duties (if so desired) is to seek these players and 'worlds' to bring into our folds. One RPG recently left us because of the barrage of gamers, both our members and 'passing through' visitors, were so many he had to make a waiting list!

I'd invited here before without a single reply...let me try again! Union Affiliates, Associates and Alliances shows ye what is required and is a great reference to some key sites in our Alliance. Just be warned: ye must have a well structured site AND no player abuse is tolerated. I myself take great pleasure in seeing these types of sites taken off the internet!I was frankly abhorred when I first started net gaming by the abuses suffered children and teens, trying diligently to learn RP's just to be told they were repeatedly killed or maimed or worse.

Some of the first duties prescribed Union Knights were AOL TOS reports of a famous and large FFRP still in place there. I claimed several hundred myself.As for the structure in Union proper, that exists mainly for the Knights...go to The Nation of Union/Universal Alliance Library and take a look at their Handbook created with the assistance of a former Marine Spec Ops...but when even a Goddess steps into the Tavern and semi-IC says 'I had a hard day in Alhanzar today' all knows well what she means!

I will leave you with this: I am VERY proud of the young men and women, partly for the love of our Alliance and for which it stands, who are now active throughout the world protecting the ideals of freedom and democracy in our Armed Forces!
