Introduction
I: Uncovering and Exposing Enemies
Union exists as a free nation and abides by her own laws as well as those of the international community. Any who would seek to break these laws or infringe on the rights of others are considered our enemy.
Updates forthcoming, here are our current resources for covert operations in these areas.
For any of the operations of Section I you may undertake your anonymity is of the utmost importance. Choose an appropriate 'alias' screen name that will be untraceable to Union or your true identity.
Most internet services offer the ability to create multiple screen names. In the case of 'Moders' the best approach would be a SN with a profile indicating someone new or inexperienced in RPG's. For 'Criminals' your best approach would be to create a profile best emulating a potential victim. With little information on 'Terrorists' choices of descriptions no profile at all would be the best approach.
A Knight should begin these operations in order of appearance for the purpose of increasing skills and knowledge.
A: 'Moders'
'Moders' as we attack them on the internet (and may yet IRL) are those who would seek to impose unjust rules or unwanted abuse upon any unwilling players. These include, but are not limited to, several ISP TOS violations including harassment, spamming, cursing, threats and many others.
A 'kill' of these enemies include what is commonly referred to as a 'toss', where the perpetrator temporarily or permanently loses ISP services. These are accomplished by collecting abuses in the forms of e-mails, IM's and/or chat room transcripts. Methods of seeing such occur is best done with a screen name as described above.
Approach the enemy as someone new to RPG's or of a weak disposition, attempting to infiltrate his 'guild' to uncover information and collect 'intelligence' (ie, any TOS violations as noted above) to be later disclosed to their ISP. The Knight then continues to portray the 'helpless victim' till such time the enemy is 'destroyed'.
An opposite strategy has proven to be less time consuming but requires a very stupid perpetrator! Simply confront the person in whatever forum you meet them in. Often within minutes enough violations may be secured to effect your 'kill'.
ISP REPORT LIST:
B: 'Criminals'
Only one Knight who shall remain unnamed has ever pursued this type of operation. While with no internet connection, she was brutally raped at the age of thirteen and took it upon herself to see those who would entice minors into compromising situations be prosecuted.
The list of criminals may be expanded to include perpetrators of hate crimes and other illegal activities.
More information shall follow but is unneccesary until existing Knights have been successful in the dispatchment of 'moders'.
If you do come in contact with any such activities please save all pertinent information and immediately contact your local office of the FBI.
C: 'Terrorists'
No Knights to date have ever pursued this type of criminal. It is the goal of the Knights' Spec Ops to begin as soon as we are able, after more manpower and information are available.
If you do come in contact with any such activities please save all pertinent information, note the SN's of any net users or what info you are able
off line on anyone who is discussing IRL terrorist activities as a participant and make your report to the FBI either using their
Terrorist Activity Report Form or by calling (866) 483-5137.
I: Promoting and Expanding Operations
A: Special Recruitments
At this time take the greatest care in recruiting to Union Spec Ops. Any interested should first join the Knights and prove themselves active, trustworthy and able in any capacity among us.
B: Special Developments
Rank will be awarded for confirmable Spec Ops activites under the MS (Miscellaneous) category.
While rank cannot be awarded in this area please support Union by visiting our sponsors and encouraging others, even non-members, to do the same.
C: Other Special Operations
1. Union Special Operations
Any assistance that may be given in disaster relief, terrorist apprehension, the UN military response or other areas through Union will be rewarded on an individual basis and recorded here or at the Tavern as applicable.
Some Spec Ops activities will be available on a 'need to know' basis only. Likewise, please remember some of your greatest works here may never see print in Union or anywhere. It is our hopes the satisfaction of these accomplishments, with what few commendations our Union is able to bestow, will be reward enough.
2. IRL Special Operations:
Learn more about the divisions, functions and tactics of special soldiers worldwide by visiting their website of Special Forces. You may also show your support of them there with letters and sponsor visits.
Any interested in joining Special Operations or any branch of the United States Armed Forces please support Union in doing so by first visiting:
