My visits to the Christian Spotlight on the Movies website have been to garner cold, hard facts about Hollywood productions.  Time after time guest reviewers and visitors to the site (Christians who are welcomed to submit movie reviews) tell of foul language...which wasn't too bad or frequent, yet would be inappropriate for younger viewers; story lines which weren't too sinful...but might be inappropriate for younger viewers; film characters who displayed traits which might be inappropriate for young viewers to absorb.

At what age does sin cease to be sin and become entertainment?   When, how, or in what way shall parents teach their children to eventually wink at or overlook or excuse sin?  I cannot find chapter and verse which describe the age at which we are free to sin or enjoy viewing as entertainment sinful behaviors--mankind's sins for which Jesus Christ gave His life and was nailed to the cross of Calvary.

If you have a need arise for information about a Hollywood film and desire to not subject yourself to the film, itself,  Christian Spotlight on the Movies can supply that information.  Although I've not spent much time on the site at all, I did recognize at least one film which appears to meet even the most stringent tests of Scripture.  I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.  (Psalm 101:3a)  Our family is striving to spend our time in pursuits more useful than movie-viewing, and I would encourage others (as I need to be encouraged) to do the same.
