There are numerous writings on my site expounding on the ways of the Lord for women.  When I write about obedience to the Lord, His ways for women, Scriptural principles, in no way do I mean to convey that if a woman is not walking entirely in those ways at this moment she isn't truly a Christian, or she isn't going to heaven, or Jesus doesn't love her.
I want to know God's ways and walk in them because I love Him and  He's been so good to me.  I want to be pleasing in His sight, and I want to receive His blessings.

"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."
(I John 3:22)

My articles are not written in or as a judgment.  Although the Scriptures say we're to judge within the body of Christ (I Corinthians 5:9-13), it's not a judgment of condemnation but one of purity in fellowship and encouraging our brothers and sisters.  Christendom seems rife today with accusations of judging, ofttimes as a misplaced condemnation of sound doctrine.  In fact, if it wasn't such a serious matter, it would be amusing how many times a brother or sister judges (condemns) another by wrongly accusing him or her of judging.  Sometimes it seems as if the don't-judge drum is being beaten to the rhythm of the enemy as he seeks avenues through which he can set at nought the ways of God by casting aspersions on anyone who speaks or teaches or believes them.  Remember, woman's first encounter with the devil (serpent) was, "Yea, hath God said...?" (Genesis 3:1)   Did  God say it...or not?

I'd like to cite one example of the need for this particular introduction to my site...

If you browse long amongst my pages, you'll read my article on modest apparel.  In it you'll learn that in 1998, I stopped wearing  pants and began wearing modest dresses and skirts (in accordance with  Biblically prescribed standards of modesty).  I didn't tell a single person I had done this.  Eventually and obviously my friends began to notice.  One of my friends told another that she just didn't feel like she could spend time with me any more.  It would make her feel too uncomfortable because she wore pants.  The thought that anyone would feel denigrated to be wearing pants in my presence had never before crossed my mind.  For a certainty, I had been wearing pants just two weeks prior to the sister's comment.  Whatever on earth would possess me to think ill of another woman doing the same?  Were there women judging me when I dressed immodestly according to Scriptural principles?  Perhaps I'll never know for sure, but I can attest that my own thoughts or feelings about women who wear pants are anything but condemnatory.  Sister, as harsh as it may sound, but to make my point, in a broad sense I couldn't care less what you're wearing.

So I invite you to peruse the writings on my site with a heart turned toward the Lord...and with love...and without judgment against either you or me.
I'm pleased you've come to visit my site, and I hope you will be too.
