What Shall We Wear?

Do the Scriptures say anything about women's clothing,
or are we free to ride the fashion tides?

Before you visit the following articles and links, I would like to say a few words about legalism, a term which seems to have been redefined in modern Christendom.  "Legalism" is now used to label some acts (and "legalist" or "Pharisee" the person performing such acts) of obedience to the Word of God.  If God commanded it, we don't like it, and someone else is doing it, we shouldn't mutter or hurl accusations of legalism.  Please be kind in your thoughts and words toward those who merely desire to be conformed to His image and ways in all things.  I was once one who bandied-about the word "legalism".  I do not believe my heart will be cleansed by changing my appearance.  I believe my appearance changed because He cleansed my heart in this area.
