Bilbo Baggins was born in TA 2890, 22nd of September, in Hobbiton. When he was 50 years old, he went on a journey with Gandalf but was separated with him and met the creature Gollum. Bilbo played a bet with Gollum--if he won a riddle-game, Gollum had to show him out of the cave--if vice versa, then he would eat Bilbo.Bilbo won, but Gollum did not keep his promise. Bilbo realized that and tried to flee, and while he was doing so, he accidentaly fell and the ring that he had found in the cave slipped onto his finger and escaped from gollum. He returned home and adopted Frodo, his younger cousin, whose parents had both drowned while fishing. Bilbo set out for Rivendell and was convinced by Ganadalf to leave Frodo the ring. Aftter the war of the ring, Bilbo went with Gandalf and Frodo to the Undying Lands, or Grey havens. He was the hobbit who led the longest life-- a life for 131 years. He was 128 years old when he sailed to the Umdying Lands. He is played by Sir Ian Holm.
