After an 1-hour hike up Grouse Mountain, we reached the top where there is a lot of things to see and do. One of the special things we saw were these wooden sculptures. Each sculpture was made by an artisan using a chainsaw.

On a clear day, you would have seen the city of Vancouver behind us, but it was a cloudy day. Sorry, if we look tired. We were hiking for a while.

This is Felicia and Gloria at the PNE checking out the lion's mouth. Funny...there's a water fountain in the middle of his tongue.

On North American Labour Day, the first Monday of September, I joined a big group of people for a picnic out at Golden Ears Provincial Park. The Park is about 45-60 minutes outside of Vancouver.

There's Chris and I in a canoe that we rented. We got very wet that day because we got into a splashing water fight with Patricia and Michelle in another canoe.

Here's the whole group after our day at Golden Ears Park. I'm not even going to try to name everyone in this picture.
