He was destined to sing,
So much EXCITEMENT he'd bring.
Thrilling spins, turns, splits and flips-
Unleashed upon the world was a talent so hip!
Please join with me, Ruffin fans, from far and near,
Yes, he was flawed but let's make it clear;
The adage NO ONE is perfect just has to be stressed,
Davis was blessed with a gift so few possess.
Let us all remember him, just as he was,
One of God's children giving and seeking love.
