The Scene: Reaching over for the remote control that sat on the nice mahogany wooden side table, Stephanie scooped it up and snarled at the television. An extremely ancient episode of I Love Lucy was playing. Who the hell wanted to watch that idiot red head screw up over and over? Stephanie, for the life of her, couldn't figure out why millions of people liked Lucille Ball so much. And people thought Stephanie's voice was annoying! The way Lucy went "But Rickyyyy!" was enough to make Stephanie's ears want to bleed. With a small shudder, the turned off the television and carelessly tossed the remote aside. She shifted her weight, trying to shake Lucy's voice out of her head when there was a small, barely audible knock at the door.
Stephanie McMahon: Who the hell is it?!
Stacy Keibler: It's me, Steph.. Can I come in?
Stephanie McMahon: Of course you can. The door's open.
The Scene: Not even five seconds later, the door swung open. Stacy Keibler stepped inside the room, and Stephanie flinched when Stacy shut the door a little too harshly. Stacy looked a little upset, and Stephanie braced herself. Crossing the room, Stacy stood in front of Stephanie with her arms crossed. Stephanie looked up at her, and for a moment, she though Stacy was mad at her. But no, Stacy knows better than to be mad at Stephanie McMahon.. So, Stephanie sighed and waited for Stacy to speak.. but Stacy didn't say a word.
![]() Stephanie McMahon: Well! Don't you have something to say?!
Stacy Keibler: Well, yeah! I'm pissed off, Steph! First of all, my opponent, Carmella hasn't shown her face at all since she's been beaten by you.
Stephanie McMahon: She's probably embarassed.. Can't say that I blame her, really. Is that the only reason why you came storming up in here like that?
Stacy Keibler: No. The other thing is Trish Stratus and Lita. Did you see the things they were saying about you, Stephanie?! First of all, most of the stuff they said isn't true, and sec--
The Scene: Stephanie cut Stacy off quickly, sitting up from her comfortable position on the couch. She continued to look up at Stacy, who's troubled expression hadn't seemed to change at all.
Stephanie McMahon: Yeah, I know. I saw the whole thating, Stace. I know exactly what they said, and I also know that they're going to be damn sorry they said any of it at all when I get through with them on Fusion. But let me tell you right now, Stacy.. Don't stress about Carmella. You know if she doesn't show up, it'll only look bad for her, and it'll look good for you. You just show up in that ring on Fusion and be ready to kick some ass! After all, we've got a couple tricks up our sleeve and people are going to be really surprised.
The Scene: Comprehension dawned upon Stacy's facial features. A huge smile lit up her face. For a moment, Stephanie was a little disgusted at Stacy's airheadedness, but she knew she'd be able to cure Stacy of it quickly. Contrary to popular belief, Stephanie knew Stacy was smart. Stephanie smirked evilly and stood up from the couch, face to face with Stacy.
Stacy Keibler: Oh! Yeah.. people are going to be really surprised when To--Shit. Sorry, I almost said it.
Stephanie McMahon: That's okay, don't worry about it. We're saving the surprise for later. As for Trish and Lita.. well I see that they don't even trust Melina. Melina, just like Carmella, hasn't shown up. If the woman's champion doesn't show up for our match, then I know it's going to be pretty damn easy to get the women's title belt around my waist.
Stacy Keibler: What is with these women being too scared to show up?
Stephanie McMahon: They're complete and utter morons, that's what's with them.
The Scene: Stephanie inhaled deeply and took a few steps towards the doorway. She stopped in the middle of the room and peered back at Stacy who'd sat down where Stephanie had previously been sitting.
Stephanie McMahon: We'll be dominating in no time. You just wait, Stacy. We can't possibly go wrong. Once I get Trish and Lita out of the way, I'll capture the gold from Melina and I'll be the alpha female. No one will be able to stop us.
The Scene: Stacy nodded and picked up the remote control. She turned on the television and Lucy's annoying voice began to ring throughout the room once again. Both Stephanie and Stacy flinched in unison. Stacy flipped the channel quickly, and Stephanie left the room, shutting the door behind her. Enough was enough. Stephanie was getting sick of Trish and Lita's antics, and getting tired of Melina's absence. She began to make her way down the corridor, knowing exactly where she was going. Stephanie had been in wrestling arenas around the world so many times that she knew practically every arena by heart. She came to a quick halt in front of a large backstage pair of curtains. "My Time" began to blast over the sound system. Insantly, there was a mixture of boos and cheers errupting from the crowd. Stephanie stepped through the curtains and walked out onto the ramp with an egostical smirk perched upon her lips and her palms placed upon her perfectly curved hips. Walking down the ramp, Stephanie climbed up into the ring. Then she posed with her arms outward, grinning at her surroundings.
![]() The Scene: Stephanie rolled her eyes at an extremely loud boo coming from a person in one of the front rows. Then she walked over to Lilian Garcia, snatching a mic rudely. Stepping into the center of the ring, Stephanie listened as her music died down.. but the booing continued. She stood there, glaring at the fans as if they were the scum of the earth. Once she'd had enough, she raised the mic to her lips.
Stephanie McMahon: Okay, okay! Shut the hell up! Don't you people have any respect?! Of course not, you were never taught the meaning of the word. It seems like Trish Stratus and Lita weren't taught the meaning of RESPECT either. Didn't you ever hear that song "Respect" by Aretha Franklin? Come on.. were you living under rocks during your whole childhood? That's one thing you two women haven't gotten down yet.. respect for your superiors. When you're standing in the presence of Stephanie McMahon, the last thing you want to do is piss her off. Unfortunately for you two, you've already made me extremely irritated. You two seem completely obsessed with making amends with each other. You want to know what I think? I think you are just trying desperately to cover up the fact that you two secretly can't stand each other as much as I hate the both of you. You both want to save face, and have the fans keep loving you, so you two pretend to actually like each other now. We're not stupid.. well, most of us aren't.. and we can see right through your little pretend. It's really rather pathetic. Trish, Lita, you both know that when this match is over with.. when all is said and done, you'll both go back to talking trash behind each others backs. You see, that's where Stacy Keibler and I are different from the both of you. We're not fake.. We tell people like it is. If I don't like you, I'll let you know straight out. That's one of the reasons why Stacy and I are going to last. We're smart, unlike you two. We're honest, again.. unlike you two. We have things that you two just seriously lack. Not to mention the fact that we know something that no one else in this federation nows. You'll see later on, we're going to get stronger. There's going to be an addition to our faction.. And we'll be a REAL faction. I know all of you people are probably just itching to know who it is, huh? Well, I'll just leave you shivering pathetically in anticaption because, quite frankly, I don't like you enough to let you in on the secret.
The Scene: A bunch of the fans booed and yelled out random obscenities. Stephanie just grinned and began to pace about the ring.
Stephanie McMahon: I just love knowing things that other people don't know. I love being the smarter one, the one in control. And let me tell you something, Trish, Lita.. I am going to be in control for an extremely long time. So, you had better get used to it, because it's just something that you're going to have to deal with. Oh, an another thing.. There's something else that I'm really getting sick of hearing coming out of your mouths. This especially goes for Trish Stratus. You keep bringing up your past accomplishments in the WWE as if they actually count for something. Remember, girls, we're in the PWA now. Whatever happened in the WWE doesn't mean anything. Not a thing. So you can parade around bragging about how you dumped a bunch of slop all over my head (which, by the way, if I recall correctly, I've kicked your ass many a time afterwards), and you can brag about how many times you've won the WWE women's title.. but it fails to intimidate me. And Lita, you can continue to say how you've beaten me for the WWE women's title all you want. It's still not going to phase me, because that was then and this is now. I am so much stronger than back then. I'm stronger than you two could ever imagine.. and I don't think your little peanut brains are capable of grasping that concept. Just remember that I am the dominant bitch. And when Fusion comes along I'm going to make sure you two never, ever forget that fact. You know, it's gotten to the point where I just despise you. It used to be just dislike.. but over the times, I've grown to HATE you both. I hate everything about you.. and come this Fusion, I can't wait to show you exactly how much I hate you. I can't wait to kick your asses! And if Melina doesn't show up, I'll have no problem doing it myself without anyone's help. Speaking of Melina.. I'll just say this one thing.. if you don't show up for Fusion, Melina, I'm going to personally kick your ass myself. You won't have to worry about Trish and Lita coming after you, because I'll have beaten them to it. Melina, I don't trust you. In fact, I don't even want to be teaming with you. If I get into the ring first, I'm not tagging you in unless I absolutely have to. And maybe, just maybe, after the match is over and we've won, I'll kick your ass right then and there! You just make sure you show up, and save yourself a whole lot of grief. Watch yourself, Melina.. You're treading on dangerous ground. All three of you are. Remember what I said before.. I was put on this earth to make your lives miserable.
The Scene: Stephanie dropped the mic to the ground, listening to the echoing clank it made against the mat. "My Time" began up one more time, blasting throughout the arena. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to drown out the fans boos and Stephanie rolled her eyes. Then she smirked and climbed out of the ring. As she headed up the ramp, a few fans began to talk shit to her.. and she just ignored them, grinning, and disappeared behind the curtains.
