this photo, but I'm smiling here. Not the face I'd been wearing for the
past seven kilometres, but I know that it's almost finished, now.
If you look closely, both my feet are off the ground at the moment this picture was taken. Am I floating? I wish. |

Posing with my bagel and Gator-ade. Post race recovery snack of champions - carbos and electrolytes. Actually, there should be something potassium based here, too, but I can't stand bananas so I gave mine to Erik. I'm already having a hard time moving around, but it's 2 km back to the car and I should probably walk that much again before getting there. I don't, of course. Stairs will prove difficult, not to mention painful, when we get back to Mom & Dad's. |
