At this reunion lots of free time was available to explore the sights San Diego and many of our shipmates took advantage of that time to explore as the following photos will reveal.

A visit to a famous San Diego Landmark was in order

This Presidio building has been here for several centuries

This is about all that remains of the San Diego Training Center.

Most of the Training Center is being used for residential development. As the saying goes,"You can't go home again".

The USS Regan is the carrier in the center of three shown.

A group of shipmates enjoyed a Mexican Dinner in an "Old Town" restaurant. In the foreground are (L to R) Chief Joseph, Tex Worden, Charles Pryor.

The Aircraft Carrier Midway is in the background.

The Plaque that is on the Midway

Old sailors always have to look at a famous ship.

The following photos were sent to me by Bill Haack. The photos were taken and contributed by Willie Lloyd and Travis Badget. Thanks men.

One of the highlights of this reunion was the Dinner Cruise. The following series of photos will give you some idea of why it was a highlight.

As it has been at previous reunions, another highlight of this reunion, especially for the ladies, was the Banquet. The following photos capture the elegence of this affair.

Getting reconnected with shipmates is always one of the enjoyable parts of a reunion and the hotel seems like a natural place for this activity as the following photos will show.
