There were no notes taken at the Shipmates' Meeting. It was pretty much decided before the meeting that the 2007 Reunion would be in San Angelo, TX. Leon asked if anyone would be interested in another location. No one suggested another location or to host. A few shipmates said they would like Vegas again, however, since no one volunteered for another location to host, San Angelo won. There was talk that in 2008 - possibly Norfolk, VA. Nobody actually volunteered to host 2008. For 2009 there was talk about Vegas again. Leon & I would again host. Everyone realizes Vegas as far as expenditures, is the cheapest way to go. This includes great airfares always to Vegas, and now I have such a great relationship with The Orleans, we will get excellent rates and service. For 2010, Chief Joseph said he would like the reunion to be held in Baton, Rouge, LA. -Marlene
