| This spine-tingler gives Scully (Gillian Anderson, pictured) the scare of her life about the child she's carrying. The story begins with a distraught husband (Jay Acovone), who had previously contacted Mulder about his wife's alien- abduction experiences. Doggett and Scully now hear the man claim that doctors killed his wife-after taking the alien baby she bore. While Scully finds the tale preposterous. Doggett notes that the details are similar to Scully's own abduction. That comment prompts Scully to visit the scene of the alleged crime, and later, to see her own doctor (Steven Anderson) - and she finds a disturbing connection between the two.
