ACTF was held in Anchorage Alaska at, oddly enough, the University of Alaksa! What a concept...I'll tell you what would have been a REAL concept...How about having an actual shuttle system? How about having the workshops in one spot rather than a mile apart from each other? Ok, ok...I get cranky about ACTF 2001. Being incredibly bitter about having to actually pay the full $500 and feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. BUT I did enjoy myself a great deal of the time since I spent most of it with my OC chums and all of the time with my love, Bjorn. Bjorn and I made it an offical thing...I love you, Bjorn.

This year's drama conference had fantastic shows, too. Western brought up both parts to Angels In America and we had the biggest group of students: 75! The Mariott was NICE! There was about 2 feet of dry snow on the ground...so yes it was cold, but it was beautiful. I made it to 2 workshops and all of the shows. Not too bad, but there was so much more that I wanted to do. Because of the terrible lack of transportation, I missed a lot...I missed the Irene Ryans competition completely. But hey...lots of grand memories. I had a camera that worked thanks to Bjorn! Overall...ACTF 2001 was fun...but not worth the whole $500.

Hey, ACTF 2002 will be at WESTERN this year! I'm so glad that my college is hosting it! I won't have to pay out my nose! PLUS I can go home to my own home every evening! ^_^
