Blondie and her friend Lottie join the follies and embark on a life of luxury and sin. Larry Belmont is the object of both girls affections. The film has it's moments but doesn't really jell as a whole. Although Jimmy Durante gets fourth billing here, he's only in one scene. This is the film which features Marion's imperonation of Greta Garbo.
A sprightly, well-framed story with brilliant backstage atmosphere, thrills, suspense and some very tender moments. Marion Davies is charming as the little Eastside girl who makes a success in the Follies, and Billie Dove has never been more lovely. The high point comes when Marion and Jimmy Durante do a burlesque of "Grand Hotel." Bob Montgomery plays the lead.
