It has been a year since the whole incident with Creed and James. Remy
still has nightmares, but he’s trying hard to move on. It’s hard on both
Logan and Remy. Logan goes to counseling with Remy as promised. Logan replaced
the ring that was lost and is now planning for their commitment ceremony.
One other detail had also came up, meeting the parents.
“My parents haven’t talk to me in years and Logan your parents
are great to you. They didn’t disown you”, Remy said with anger.
“Remy it will be ok, they were very concern about you, give them credit
for that. They want to be here for the ceremony, especially your mother.
Remy please. I know I said to forget about them, but since the incident
they seem very interested in your life,” Logan said gently.
“They hurt me Logan I just can’t face them, so just drop it!”
“They were scared for you, Rem please for your sake and mine please
try. Just call them!”
“Non, I’m not doing it. End of discussion."
Remy shouted to his lover.
“…But Remy…”
“…Non but nothing you can’t say would change my mind, Logan!
Remy collected his laptop and reports and headed upstairs where he
would retire for the night. “Dinner in the oven,” Remy shouted as he entered
the bedroom and slammed the door behind him. Logan would sit on the couch
where he lit his cigar. “Hmm! Well whether if you ready or not their coming,
both of our parents by the end of the week,” Logan shouted loud enough
for this lover to hear. “I also took that invitation you were hiding and
mailed it to your parents two weeks ago,” he also boasted out.
“What? Logan Taylor Wolf, I don’t believe this… why, shit! I…Logan
get your ass up here now,” Remy demanded.
“Not when you’re like that, I won’t be out late. See ya kid!”
Logan said as he rush out to avoid Remy’s raft.
Next Day
“Still piss, uh!” breaking the silence Logan spoke.
“Hum, beyond that chere,” Remy replied.
“Well this is going to be great when I tell him this news,” Logan thought.
“Remy...”
“What now?”
“…Well my parents are coming tomorrow seems as though they couldn’t
wait,” Logan said as he grinned and trying his hardest to make a joke out
of it. Tapping his fingers on the table, Remy just look at Logan with an
expression that could kill.
“Well you going to say something,” Logan curiously asks.
“I’m trying to process this new info and figure when and where to kill
you!” Remy shouted out. Easing his way and started heading out of the kitchen
door, Logan was stopped in his tracks.
“Logan, don’t even think about it. We got things to do for the ceremony
and your parents.”
Several hours later the room was prepared for Logan’s parents.
“I hope things will be right,” Remy stated with a sought of fear in
his voice.
“It’s going to be alright, you’ll be ok. They’re just my parents, Remy.”
Logan whispered as he hugged his lover. “Let me take your mind off of this.
How about dinner or maybe just have desert.”
“O yeah, chere”
“Yeah, whip cream, chocolate chip, and cherries,” Logan whispered softly.
“What is going to be under all of that?” Remy ask with a grin.
“Hum! Why you!” Logan replied as he carried his lover to their bedroom.
Where he gently place Remy on the bed. He tickled and kissed his lover.
“I knew I could put a smile on that face.”
“Logan I know we haven’t…”
“Don’t worry, when the time is right it’ll happen.”
“…But Logan I know you dream about…”
Logan took his hand and place it on Remy’s shoulder and said, “ I’m
not worried about it.”
“Lo…Logan I notices you turn away from me and…”
“You think that I jerk off, I don’t. I just don’t want you to feel
“me”. I figure it would freak you out. I have control, darling.”
“…But if you want me to, I could…go down on you. I…I don’t …”
Logan kissed Remy. “When your ready. Now lets get a little nap in and
we’ll go out,” Logan whispered as he lay beside his lover who was drifting
off to sleep.
Meeting of the Wolfs and LeBeaus?
There was only a week before the ceremony. Everything was set
from the hall to the honeymoon, which Logan is taking care of. Bruce and
Chris agreed to be in the ceremony. “My mama and papa maybe coming, I can’t
believe Logan did this to me. We haven’t spoken in years. Well, I have
other things to wrong about. Logan should have picked up his parents form
the airport.” Remy thought. His thoughts would be interrupted when he heard
Bruce and Chris in the kitchen.
“Hey you two, don’t eat up everything down there,” Remy shouted with
laughed.
“We’re tasting out the food,” both men said in unison with giggles.
Remy was on his way downstairs to see the damage his friends made.
“Ok, mom and dad listen to me, Remy’s a little nervous so please act
like yourself,” Logan pleaded.
“Well sweety we’ll behave, anything else son?” Logan’s mother, Annie
asks with a smile.
“We’ve talk on the phone and chatted so he shouldn’t be nervous at
all,” Logan’s dad, George said.
“It’s different, it’s face to face, so I’m begging, please…”
“Logan, my lil wolfie, so protective, his so in love,” Annie said with
a smile.
“Mom, please don’t call me that in front of Remy, if he ever found
out about that name. I will never live it down,” Logan commented as a grin
came across his face.
They were making there way to the driveway. The Wolfs saw a couple
knocking on the door as a taxicab pulled off.
“Who’s that dear,” Annie asks.
“I have a good idea who it is!” Logan responses.
The doorbell was ringing and Remy started for the door. “Logan, why
are you always leaving your key? How many times have I told you to take
your keys? Next time…” Remy stopped in mid-sentence with shock going through
his mind.
“Hello, Remy!” the female voice he hadn’t heard in years.
“Mama, Papa how, when…I mean…”
Remy struck in his speech. Logan made his way through the door.
“Hey darling,” Logan had his parents’ bags.
“You must be the LeBeau’s, my name is Logan and these are many parents,
Annie and George Wolf.” Logan introducing everyone while Remy was still
in shock.
“Well I’m Lizette and this is my husband Jean-Luc.” Remy mother replied.
“I guess your wondering why we are here so early, Remy?” Jean-Luc asks.
“Well…I…”
“Why don’t I show you to your rooms and we can all have something to
eat and get acquainted with one another,” Logan trying to cut some of the
tension in the air.
Chris and Bruce had peak their heads out to watch the event unfold.
“Oh boy, do we really want to stay tonight?” Bruce asks Chris with a slight
grin.
“Yeah, don’t want to miss a thing,” Chris response quietly with little
giggles.
Remy finally let go of the door and fainted to the floor.
“Oh hell,” Logan whispered.
Chris and Bruce came out of the kitchen after they hear a shout from
the living room. Logan was picking up Remy and carrying him upstairs. Chris
took Logan’s parents’ luggage to their room; as for Remy’s parents Bruce
took them to the other guest room that was on the ground room.
“Well I guess I knew this would happen!” Logan grins as he put his
lover down on their bed. Logan was trying to wake up Remy.
“Come on kid, wake up, come on now…”
“Logan …what happened?”
“You fainted, how you feeling, darling?”
“Chere, I had the strangest dream, I thought…”
“Your parents are here Remy,” Logan finishing Remy’s sentence. He had
to chuckle as Remy was rubbing his head.
“They’re in the other guest room downstairs. So now that I updated
you, do you want to stay in the bedroom and deal with them tomorrow or
try to have dinner with our parents and friends?” Logan asks with laughter
in his voice.
“You think this is funny, why don’t you go and as a matter of fact
you can sleep downstairs too,” Remy boasted as he physically kicking Logan
out and Bruce waiting in the hallway. Remy slammed the door in both of
their faces. He would remain in the room all night, while Logan tried to
entertain the guest with a little help from Bruce and Chris.
“I told you not to do that, but your hard headed ass won’t listen.
He wasn’t ready to see them.” Bruce said with concern.
“I know, but I just thought I could end the stand still between them.
Hum! Was I ever wrong on this one.” Logan replied was the two friends made
their way downstairs.
“Logan, sweetheart he’ll be ok. Just give him time. He just could handled
all of us at once,” Annie said.
Logan nodded at his mother’s comment, at the same time he was looking
at his lover’s parents.
“Logan something wrong?” Annie and George both ask as they all sat at
the table
“Them, I thought this would be good for Remy, guess not.” Logan replied
as Remy’s parents look upon their son’s lover, parents and friends.
“Logan I thank you for the opportunity you gave us today, to see our
son, I just wish we had tried earlier to contact him…” Jean-Luc was interrupted
his wife.
“We shouldn’t have come, lets just leave. It’s made clear to me he
doesn’t want us here either,” Jean-Luc speaking to his wife and pointing
to Logan.
“Jean-Luc please stop, you have never accepted Remy, since you seen
him kissing…”
“Don’t you dare woman? I refuse to let you talk about our son in front
of these people.” Jean-Luc.
“I never had a problem with his chose of mates, but you refuse to hear
me or your son,’ Lizette firing back at her husband.
“Not here, not now,” Jean-Luc now trying to calm his wife down.
“Fuck You, Jean-Luc. I’m going upstairs and talk to “our” son!” Lizette
scream out as she excused herself from the table. As Lizette made her way
upstairs, Jean-Luc had also decided to leave the table and went outside
to smoke a cigarette.
“Remy please open the door. I just want to talk with you without Logan
or your father.” She pleaded. The door slowly opened as she saw that soft,
fire, red hair and his childlike eyes peak to see that only his mother
stood outside that door. She slowly made her way in and watches her son
retreat back in bed. Lizette closed the door and followed behind him. His
eyes fix to the floor, she lifts his face to see that his eyes were puffy
and red. “My fin, please don’t cry anymore and before you ask about anything,
just listen. I miss you, your father also, even though he won’t show it
and no it’s not about money. I knew you sent those checks; your papa would
take them and tore them up. His a proud man, Remy.” Lizette said.
“Mama, why didn’t you try to call? Why let him do this to us? He just
disowned me. I couldn’t help who I love, I just…forget it!” Remy angrily
replied.
“Non, finish fin.”
“I just wanted to be love and give love, but papa wanted me to be someone
I wasn’t. He always compared me to Henri, always. Henri, Henri, Henri.
I hated papa for that. Ever since Henri got shot he won’t even look at
me. Papa blamed me for it.” Remy sobbed.
“Little one, your papa knew Henri was saving you. You were young when
that Nathaniel kidnapped you and tried to rape you. You didn’t know, but
Henri did know that Nathaniel had a gun. He would have killed you, if your
brother hadn’t found you in time. Your brother was a cop, plain and simple…”
she said.
“He shot him in the back, because of me, mama!” Remy sobbed out.
“He protected you like a big brother is suppose to do.” Lizette said
as he comforted her son, whose head was now on her lap.
“Mama how is Henri? Remy ask.
“He would wonder how you were, but your father didn’t want him to call
or talk to you. He misses you and before you ask, he will be here for the
ceremony along with your niece, nephew and his wife Simone.” Lizette happily
replied. She was combing through Remy’s hair with her fingers.
“Merci mama” Remy replied whispered.
“Remy, are you upset with Logan?”
“Well, non not ready! I…it’s my temper mama. I’ll apologize to him.
I was just upset.” Remy replied.
“You better, his very good for you. You got him wrap around your fingers.
Protective like your brother.” Lizette said with a grin.
“Oh mama. I…love him! Mama would you stay here tonight. I just …”
“I know Remy. You miss your old mama. It’s ok petite. I miss you as
well,” Lizette said as she patted her son’s head.
Mother and son finally united at last. Lizette made her way to the
head of the bed and Remy moved as well. She would hug her son all night,
both with tears of joy.
“Sleep now petit, we have a busy day tomorrow. We have a ceremony to
finish planning,” Lizette said before she drifted off asleep.
“Night ma’am,” Remy yawned out.
Logan followed out behind Jean-Luc into the patio area. The two men
were arguing after Lizette went upstairs.
“You know what, I’ve had enough of you and your smart-ass comments,”
Logan boasted to Jean-Luc.
“Logan calm down, please.” Logan’s mother pleading.
“My son doesn’t need to be with the likes of you or your friends over
there. The only reason you want him because he’s good and easy for you!
A trophy for you! His weak, I bet that’s what you like. You don’t scare
me Logan. If anything I pity you.” Jean-Luc angrily replied to Logan. He
spat at Logan and stormed back inside the house.
“Why you son of a bitch, you pity me. The better term is that you envy
me. Remy has a life, he’s happy. You wish you knew him, like I do. I see
why he couldn’t talk to you. You’re an asshole. Well I got news for you
bub, we’ll having this ceremony whether your there or not. You selfish
bastard!” Logan screamed as he followed behind Jean-Luc into the living
room. Logan’s temper was causing his claws to come out. The two men continued
arguing. Jean-Luc turned around and notices the claws.
“What are you, some type of freak? Do you use those on my son? You
fucker!
George and Annie tried to control the situation but with Logan’s anger
and Jean-Luc stubbornness the two men continued arguing back and front.
Bruce run upstairs to get Lizette, who at this moment was out of her son’s
room. She had heard the noise and followed back behind Bruce. Tables were
turned over, furniture rearranged. Logan’s father in the middle of the
two of them. He also is trying to avoid the punches being thrown between
the two men. Jean-Luc eyes were turning fire red and hands glowing as well;
Logan’s claws were now out and ready to destroy each other.
“Non, you two stop this now. You’ll wake Remy!” Lizette said loudly
enough for the people on the ground floor to hear.
Logan stop to face Lizette who was making her way downstairs. Jean-Luc
had sucker punch Logan by this time.
“Jean-Luc, stop! Logan! go upstairs and check on Remy, matter of fact
why don’t we all go to bed. Annie, George forgive us please this behavior
was very unnecessary,” Lizette stated as she stared at her husband and
future son-in-law. Logan walks up to Lizette. “Goodnight, Logan. Go check
on Remy and rest,” she said as he hugged Logan.
“Goodnight Liz…” Lizette put her finger on Logan’s mouth, “call me…Mom.
You’ll going to have to get use to it,” She said with a smile. Logan returned
the smile.
“Thank you,” Logan whispered into Lizette’s ear.
“Now as for you Jean-Luc, we’re going to have a talk,” Lizette pointed
to her husband.
Annie and George went upstairs as well. The two ladies hug each other.
“Goodnight” was the only word spoken between the two women. George patting
Lizette on the shoulder, “It’ll be ok, he’ll see past his prejudices. He
just needs love, understanding and some time,” George reassuring her as
he proceeded behind his wife to their room. Bruce and Chris had retired
early but were still up from the commotion in the house.
“Maybe I better…”
“No way, you don’t deal with that it will work itself out,” Chris convincing
his lover to stay in bed.
“Fine, goodnight.” Bruce quietly whispered.
“Mama?” Remy whispered in the dark room.
“No, kid it’s me!” Logan replied.
“Where my mama?”
“With your stubborn, selfish ass father.”
“Maybe I should talk to…”
“All no you don’t. Not tonight. You can talk to him in the morning,
your mother has a few things to tell him.” Logan said.
Remy cleared his throat. “Chere about how I acted earlier…”
“You were upset and in shock and all this stuff with the ceremony and
all it got to you. It’s ok darling.” Logan had strip off his clothes and
slid into bed spooning his lover in his arms.
“I can’t believe they’re here…” Remy yawned out softly.
“Hmm! Believe it, now rest yourself. The way your mother and my mother
were acting earlier you maybe out all day,” Logan laughed in his sleepy
lover’s ear.
“Chere shut up and hold me!”
“Jean-Luc why, why can you just try to get along with your son and Logan?”
Lizette questioned.
“Because our son deserves better, you see what that Creed did to him
in college. What makes you think Logan will treat him any better? He could
come home; maybe date a girl! He’s wasting his time with Logan, his a good
looking young man.” Jean-Luc screamed and boasted.
“Jean-Luc are you so blind! Logan loves and I mean loves Remy with
all his heart. He gave him a home, a reason to really live. I see it in
Remy’s eyes, that glow, that spark. No one has ever loved him as much as
Logan,” she replied with tears in her eyes.
“I know what I did to him was wrong…I thought I could snap him out
of this phase,” Jean-Luc finally breaking down.
“He’s mi fil, I wanted a life for him…”
“…but he does with Logan and his successful. What more do you need?”
Lizette cutting her husband off. She walked over to him and hugged him.
“I don’t want him to get hurt anymore, Lizette. He’s being carrying
the guilt and shame that I put on him. I want him to forgive me, but he
may never forget what I done to him. I worried about him every night. Those
days the phone rang and no one spoke, I knew it was him.”
“Jean-Luc please talk to him. You know how much he looks up to you.
Tomorrow, please,” she pleaded with tears running down her cheek. “Tomorrow
mi chere.” Jean-Luc was lightly kissing his wife on the forehead. They
both would retire to their room.
Annie and Lizette cook breakfast, waking every man in the house. “ I
smell, coffee, eggs, bacon, toast and oh yeah, pancakes,” Logan thought.
But his nose wasn’t fooling him.
“Remy get up I believe our mother’s are cooking breakfast, and if I’m
right I know everyone is downstairs,” Logan whispered into his lover’s
ear.
“Chere you go downstairs and enjoy yourself,” Remy said with a sleepy
low voice.
“Yeah as long as you come down with me…”
“…But Logan…”
“Oh no, no darling you’re coming,” Logan said as he lifts his lover
in his arm.
“Logan, non I don’t…”
“You’re going and don’t worry about your dad he might have left after
the fight we had.”
“Logan you and my father, but…”
“I didn’t hit him, he sucker punch me.”
“So you two were fighting over little old me?”
Logan continued tickling Remy. A knock on the door interprets their
playful morning.
“Come in” was the response from both men. Their mothers greeted them.
“I see you two were on your way down,” both mother’s said in unison.
“Mama we’re coming down.” Remy said as his lover was carrying him.
“Well they finally decided to grace their appearances on us,” the mothers
spoke.
“You two are scaring me, if I didn’t no any better I would think you
two were twins,” George said.
“Mrs. Wolf, Mrs. LeBeau this breakfast is great,” Chris and Bruce commented.
“I bet, it is. I hope we will get something to eat,” Logan said as
he tried to steal one of Bruce pancakes.
“Hey you thief,” Bruce yelled. Chris laughed and so did the rest of
the table. Surprise enough, Remy glazed to see his father had a grin on
this face as well. “Papa!” Remy whispered. Remy was deep in thought.
“Hey darling’ you ok?” Logan asks.
“I believe I am, chere.” Remy smiled.
Within the next three days everyone was fitted for his or her attire
for the ceremony. Remy wearing white tuxedo, Logan in black tuxedo. Logan
hates wearing the penguin suit, but he would bear with it for his special
day.
“One more day,” Remy thought. He started having bad vibes.
“Non, nothing is going to go wrong, Remy thought.
“Hey ready to check out, hungry!”
“Yeah, Logan I’m ready,” Remy, responded as he checks himself over
again in the mirror.
“Perfect!” he thought as he left the fitting room.
