Mina is a terrific friend to Usagi although she really doesn't get a lot of air time because of the sheer number of other things that must be done in the 25 or so minutes that they have each episode. Despite this, Mina is shown as a very caring individual, a lady quite willing to inconvenience herself in order to help others (although sometimes her help seems to do more damage than help...)
Mina is a lot like Usagi, in that she can be ditzy and irresponsible at times. She easily develops crushes on cute guys, and was the first to fall for Haruka. More seriously however, Mina tends to feel inadequate at times, and this prompts her to do things that are quite dangerous. When she felt that she was not good enough to get her heart snatched by the enemies, she went on a crusade to prove that her heart was pure. This included such things as intense studying at the library, donating dangerous amounts of blood, and attracting the attention of the enemy.
Mina of course, had a short career in Europe as Sailor V before she came to Japan and found the other Sailors. We discover in the S season that Mina likes to play volleyball and was pretty good at it until she moved to Europe and gave up the game.
Sailor Fact: - Sailor Venus is the only Sailor who has impersonated another Sailor. Although several of the Sailors have been mistakenly identified as Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus used the Lunar Pen in "Birthday Blues, Part 2", to disguise herself as Sailor Moon and fool Kaolinite.
