Yuri HyugaShadow Hearts Character Profile
I decided to make a small summary of the characters in shadow hearts I only placed some of the really main characters :D
Yuri Hyuga
SH1: A young Harmonixer who was lead to save Alice Elliot by a mysterious voice. His encounter with Alice changed his life and so did hers. His journey began until he met allies who helped him along the way and fought his way to save the world from Roger Bacon's plan of purification. Although this was also part of a plan in SH2 ^^; This is where the love story of Yuri and Alice begins as Yuri and Alice learns to fall in love with each other. The game had 2 endings one bad and one good ending but the SH team chose the bad ending as a continuation to SH2's storyline.
SH2: Yuri after the death of Alice in the hands of the masks mourned greatly for her death. He decided to stay in a small town in Domremy and vowed to protect the town while living with Alice's grandfather Gepetto a puppeteer. But as always peace is never eternal, the town was attacked and Yuri tried to protect it by using his harmonixer abilities and because of that the military was sent after him. And this is where he met Karin and Nicolai, a royal soldier and an exorcist. Nicolai infects Yuri with the curse of the mistletoe, while Karin falls in love with Yuri but Yuri remains loyal to Alice. The story has lots of twists and surprises don't want to spoil it but if u want to know more just ask hehe:D
Alice Elliot
SH1: A girl sought after by Roger Bacon for her holy powers. She possesses healing powers. She was saved by Yuri during her travel. After that incident they both traveled together and learned that they had feelings for each other. She was discreet about it but she always loved Yuri that she even wanted to sacrifice her life for the sake of Yuri. She was the only voice that was able to reach out to Yuri during his times of confusion. The good ending in SH1 was really nice though ^_^ I hoped that was what really happened. XD
SH2: In SH2, Alice died for sacrificing her life to the four masks in SH1 and Yuri greatly mourned for her death. She had some special appearances in the game and she was very vital for Yuri's self confidence hehe. The part where Yuri saw her revived for a while was one of the most touching parts of the story! I cried watching that hehe! All I can say is their love was tremendous! I love Yuri and Alice ^_^ The good ending in SH2 was very fulfilling tho! Great work ARUZE!
Hyuga
SH1: Yuri's father who left them because of military reasons. In SH1, Yuri thought it was his father that he feared most which made him fear his power. But in the end Yuri realized that it was himself he was afraid. Hyuga once fought to save the world against Dehuai, and now Yuri is taking that same step his father did.
SH2: Some flashbacks of his father is shown in the game, especially in the ending where he meets Yuri's mother Anne *cough cough* wonder who that is XD
Karin Koenig
SH2: A strong woman who works for the militia She was sent out to purify the demon in the village of Domremy. But with her encounter with Yuri, she falls in love with him that instant. She is a very strong woman with strong beliefs and Yuri admired her for it. She confesses her love to Yuri but Yuri only has one love for him and that is Alice. Karin knows this but nevertheless says it to Yuri, she wants her to know her feelings even just that. She has been Yuri's bestfriend in SH2, and he compares her to her mother *cough cough* I wonder why? XD anyway I like Karin as well, actually I like every cast of Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 ^__^.
Gepetto
SH2: A puppeteer who lives with Yuri in the 1st part of the game. Gepetto is Alice's relative and that is the reason he is together with Yuri in the 1st part of the game. He was with Yuri when he dug Alice's grave so he knows exactly what Yuri has gone through the past few years. Also one of Yuri's trusted friend.
Masaji Kato
SH1: He was a loyal friend of Lt. Kawashima in SH1, he always follows her rules but behind that he loved Kawashima more than anything, her death made him grief dearly.
SH2: He became muscularly built in SH2 compared to SH1 hehe! He practiced a lot I think, and other that his views are completely changed. He even became one of Yuri's enemies for a while but they were both a friend to each other in spite of that. They both share the same grief of losing their most loved ones.
