T.O.W. They All End Up Eating Candy

Scene: Hey, it's Ashley LePerea' you may have read my fan fic series before, such as "Our Story," and "Alternative Season 13."

I have decided to write a new series, I may post the last parts of "Our Story" in a while.

This new series is similar to Our Story in a way. But it will be in script format, and it will be a comedy. So basically it will take you through the FRIENDS, just without the drama. It's also kinda an alternative season 8, but there are so many of those going around I am trying not to make it seem like one. I hope you like it! Thanks for reading!

Scene: Central Perk, the day after Chandler and Monica get back from their honeymoon.Chandler is staring into space, Monica is reading a magazine. (Us Weekly)

Monica: "You know what we should see Chandler?"

Chandler:"Huh?"

Monica-"We should see that movie...."Riding in Cars with Boys," don't you think that looks good?"

Chandler-"Yeah, sure."

Monica-"What's wrong?"

Chandler-"Oh nothing much, just wish we were back on our honeymoon. I am already bored with home."

Monica-(laughing a little bit) "What are you talking about, we've been back barely even a full 24 hours."

Chandler-"Yeah, I know, just, now what are we gonna do ya know? All last year we were planning our wedding and now  it's just like...okay we're married, now what?"

Monica-"Kids?"

Chandler-"Yuh huh! We JUST got married."

Monica-"Chandler (she said giving him a little look, which in return he gives her a puppy look hoping she would just think he was cute and drop the subject) Seriously Chandler! You have always been all freaked out about kids, if now isn't a good time, then when is?"

Chandler-"I don't know Mon, I just don't think  I'm "dad" material, that's all."

Monica-"What are you talking about? You would be a great dad! Oh come on, you would love having a baby that you could goof around with, and teach it all your jokes, although I'd rather you not. (he gives her a look) Oh come on you know I was kidding."

Chandler-"I don't know, I just don't want to turn my kids into what my dad turned me into."

Monica-"What are you saying? Are you a cross-dresser planning on moving to Vegas?"

Chandler-"Ha Ha very funny."

Monica-"Oh Chandler" (she says laughing a little, kissing him, then placing her head on his shoulder.)

(Rachel enters carrying 3 bags)

Rachel-"Hey guys! What's up?"

Monica-"Oh nothing much, just discussing our children."

Rachel-"Monica! Are you pregnant? (automatically assuming she said yes) Oh this is going to be SO much fun to be pregnant together! I can't wait! Yay!"

Monica-"Rach...I'm not pregnant."

Rachel-"Oh."

Monica-(laughing a little) "Yeah."

Chandler-(changing subject)"So what's in the bags?"

Rachel-"Oh, this is so cool. Okay, in bag number one (holds up a pink bag with a bunny on it) It is all baby stuff, I have a blanket (pulls out a blanket with a cloud design), I have diapers, a few white onesie's, a pack of bottles, some bibs, and a teddy bear!"

Monica-"Oh that's so cool! Hey speaking of, are you going to wait until you have the baby to find out if it's a boy or a girl?"

Rachel-"I don't know I can't decide. But let me show you bag number 2!" (pulls out a brown bag) In this I have a ton of awesome maternity clothes! I have the jeans with the weird stomach so that you can still wear jeans but be comfortable, I have this really cute white shirt (holds up maternity shirt with a butterfly on the front) I got this...thing (holds up a U shaped object, she presses button and it starts to vibrate.)

Monica-"Oh cool, how about the other bag?"

Rachel-"Oh, well first there is this big box of cookies. (holds up a box of "chewy" chocolate chip cookies) Then there's my six pack of Pepsi...regular, not diet. Last but NOT least this big bag of tootsie roll pops!" (starts doing a little dance)

Monica-"Wow, so I take it you're starting to crave food a little more?"

Rachel-"Naa, not really, I have just always planned on eating a ton when I'm pregnant, and now I'm pregnant...so I'm eating a ton!"

Monica-"Aww I get it. I ate more then that for a snack when I was in high school."

Rachel-"Oh, yeah I remember your room was filled with candy bags." (starts to laugh)

Monica-"Yeah...let's not discuss that right now."

Rachel-"Chandler why ya so quiet?"

Chandler-"No reason."

Monica-"Oh, honey come on, you're not still thinking about what we talked about are you?"

Chandler-"No, no of course not."

Rachel-"What did you guys talk about?"

Monica-"Oh, just about when we're going to have kids and stuff."

Rachel-"Interesting. So when are you?"

Monica-"Well, I don't know...Chandler?"(turning to Chandler)

Chandler-"Don't look at me."

Monica-"We're still debating." (turns to Rachel)

Rachel-"Oh, all right. Well, I should probably go, I need more candy, and Fred Meyers has a huge sale going on right now! Bye!" (runs out the door)

C&M-"Okay, bye."

Scene 2-Joey & Phoebe are having a shopping spree, currently they are standing on a side walk in sweat pants and baggy shirts. (as if ready to go exercise) Phoebe has her hair in a head band. Joey has weights around his wrist and a stop watch around his neck.

Joey-"Okay, so we have 15 stores to hit, and we have to purchase two items at each store, we have to complete it in less then 45 minutes. What are our first stops?"

Phoebe-"Okay, first is the bakery, then (looks down at a piece of paper that is a plan for their spree) the hair salon, circuit city, the pet store, candy store,  the grocery store, the poster shop, and then we have our check stop and from there we still have....eight more stores to hit. ARE YOU READY?!"

Joey-"Yes ma'am. I am ready ma'am!"

Phoebe-"Okay, on your mark, get set....GO!"

(they both run into the bakery. Joey presses start on his stop clock, scene ends)

Scene 3- Rachel is at Monica and Chandlers sitting on the couch with candy surrounding her. She is watching Days Of Our Lives & crying.

Ross enters

Ross-"Hey Rach, I got so-"

Rachel-"SHUT-UP! (goes back to what she was doing as if Ross wasn't there. She is still crying) "I just don't see why Sammy and Austin can't get back together! (commercial break comes on, if you need detail, it is a taco bell commercial) Okay, I guess you can talk now." (she says wiping up her tears and opening another star burst.)

Ross-"Okay. I was going to tell you that I found a really nice crib that is on sale and I think we should get it now so that we don't have to worry about it later."

Rachel-"Okay, do whatever. (still looking at TV, a passions preview comes on) Ooooh I gotta watch that! They're STILL trapped on the island! I wonder what will happen."

Ross-"You watch that show? It is SO lame. What about that one lady that carries around a doll?"

Rachel-"Hey...YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!"

Ross-"Whatever. So what's with all the candy?"

Rachel-"Because."

Ross-"Oh I see..."

Rachel-"Are you still here?"

Ross-"No I was just leaving...."(DOOL comes back on)

Rachel-"GO!"

(Five second period of silence, then Monica walks in)

Monica-"Hey Ra- Oh my God what did she do to her hair?!" (she says with her eyes glued to the TV)

Rachel-(starting to cry again) "I know, isn't it horrible?"

Monica-"What's wrong?"

Rachel-"I have no idea. I'm just sad!"

Monica-"It must have something to do with being pregnant."

Rachel-"Yeah probably."

Monica puts one hand over her mouth and another on her stomach. Then after breathing a couple times, she calms back down.

Rachel-"What's wrong with you?"

Monica-"I'm not feeling too well today, I was sitting in front of the toilet for ten minutes this morning because I thought I was going to throw up!"

Rachel-"Ugh, sounds like what I'm going through. I wonder where you caught it from."

Monica-"Probably work, I had to have one of the waitresses leave the other day because she had the flu. I'm guessing that's where I got it from..."(she says uncertainly)

Rachel-"You know what you should do? (Monica shakes her head) You should get YOUR OWN bag of candy and sit here to watch DOOL, Joey says he has a couple scenes in this episode, so far I haven't seen him though."

Monica-"You know what? That sounds good hold on...(walks over to the bench by the window, opens it, and pulls out a big metal box) I hide candy in this box to keep myself from eating it all, plus if Chandler knew where it was he would get into it."(she opens box)

Rachel-"OOO that's such a good idea!"

Monica-"I KNOW!" (runs and plops down on the couch)

Scene 4-Joey and Phoebe are in Circuit City. Joey is playing around with a phone that hooks to your clothes, Phoebe checking out a sound recorder.

Phoebe-(laughing) "If I got this I could record our conversations and you wouldn't even know it, ha ha!"

Joey-"Yeah? Well with this phone I could walk around while talking...and not have to hold anything.. ha ha ha!"

Phoebe-"Ouch, you gave me the triple HA."

Joey-"Okay, well I have my two purchases, come on, we got a time limit we gotta go!"

Phoebe-"Okay, okay!"

They both run to the clerk.

Scene 5- Monica and Rachel are still sitting on the couch watching Rosie O' Donnel. Most of their bags are empty and they both look like they could die.

Monica-"Ugh I think we need some more candy."

Rachel-"Are you serious? We need A TON more candy."

Monica-(laughing) "Okay, I'll go get some."

She goes out the door as Chandler is coming in.

Chandler-"Hey sweetie, where are you going?"

Monica-"Oh, Rachel and I ran out of candy. I'm gonna go get some more at the grocery store, do you need anything?"

Chandler-"No, I'm good thanks."

Monica-"Okay, well I have my cell in case you change your mind. Bye, love you."

Chandler-"Love you too."

Door closes

Chandler-"Hi Rachel."

Rachel-"Hey."

Chandler-"Umm, has Monica said anything to you about babies?"

Rachel-"No. Don't worry Chandler she isn't pregnant."

Chandler-"No, no that's not why. I just wanted to know because I'm worried that I gave her the wrong impression earlier."

Rachel-"What do you mean?"

Chandler-"Oh, I just made it sound like I didn't want any kids. I do, I'm just worried I wouldn't be a good dad. I don't know if I'm ready for the responsibility."

Rachel-"Oh don't worry you'll be a great dad! And if she ever talks as if she thinks you don't want kids, I'll make sure she knows that you do k?"

Chandler-"Yeah thanks. So what are you doing?"

Rachel-"Oh just watching Rosie. There isn't much else on though." (the girl from DOOL is on (the girl that Monica and Rachel said had horrible hair))

Chandler-"What did she do with her hair?"

Rachel-"You watch dool?"

Chandler-(realizing that he let it slip that he does) "No, never!"

Scene 6-Grocery store, Monica has five big bags of candy, she is looking at the pregnancy test selection.

Monica-(picking up test) "Okay...so blue line means positive..red & blue means take it again, and green line means negative? I don't get it."

(Phoebe sneaks up behind her because that is her most recent stop on the shopping spree)

Phoebe-"HEY MONICA!"

Monica-"Oh hey!" (quickly hiding test)

Phoebe-"Monica...."

Monica-"Yes...."

Phoebe-"Why you lookin at the pregnancy tests?"

Monica-"I um...I just wanted, um to, you know...Ugh I guess there's no point in lying...there's a chance I could be pregnant."

Phoebe-"Oh my god that's so great! Eeek!"

Monica-"Yeah, I really hope I am. But today Chandler was talking and it didn't sound like he wanted kids."

Phoebe-"Monica..come on you know how Chandler is. He just says stuff like that. Remember how he used to freak out about marraige? Then what happened? He proposed.."

Monica-"True. Do you think you could stay with me until I find out?"

Phoebe-"Well, I am on a shopping spree. But I have managed to spend most of my money and I'm not even half way done yet...so I guess I should go home. Plus my turtle needs to get home."

Monica-"Your turtle?"

Phoebe-"Oh yeah, before this we went to the pet store, and I didn't want to buy some stupid dog chew toy so I bought me a turtle!"

Monica-"Oh jeez Phoebe."

Phoebe-"All right, so should we go to your place or my place?"

Monica-"Your place, Chandler is home right now."

Phoebe-"Right on!"

Scene 7- Chandler has now joined Rachel with the eating candy and watching TV spree. They are both mad that Monica is taking so long to get the candy to them.

Rachel-(yelling as if in pain) "Monica....we need the candy!"

Chandler-"Oh this is horrible, we're gonna die!"

Joey enters

Joey-"Hey guys what's up?"

C&R-"Shut up we're in pain."

Joey-"Why?"

Chandler-"We need candy."

Joey-(pulls out a big bag of candy)"Oh here you go...Phoebe and I were on our shopping spree, we went to the candy store and got a ton! But then we both ran out of money so we came home."

Rachel-"GIVE US THE CANDY!"

Joey-"All right, all right! Hey by the way, we ran into Monica at the grocery store."

Chandler-"Really? How long ago was that?"

Joey-"Probably about an hour ago."

Chandler-"Oh man, where could she be? She's starting to worry me."

Rachel-"Just call her on her cell, remember, she brought it."

Chandler-"Oh that's right." (gets the phone and dials)

Scene flashes to Monica at Phoebe's apartment. They are sitting on the couch waiting for the test to finish.

Monica-"Oh hold on, it's probably Chandler. I forgot to tell him I would be here. (on phone) Hello?

(split screen of both of them)

Chandler-"Monica, where are you I was worried."

Monica-"Oh...I'm at Phoebe's she wanted to show me something. I'm sorry I forgot to call you."

Chandler-"Don't worry about it, I just wanted to make sure you were safe."

Monica-"Aww, you're so sweet. So I'll see you at the apartment?"

Chandler-"Yeah, bye love you."

Monica-"Love you too." (she says blushing a little)

Scene flashes back to Phoebe's apartment.

Monica-"So is it ready."

Phoebe-"I don't know. Do you want to look or me?"

Monica-"I'll look."

Monica grabs test but doesn't look at it. She has a ten second period of silence preparing herself.

Monica-(looking at test) "YES! It's positive! I-I'm pregnant!"

Phoebe-"YAY! This is SO great!!"

(they hug, as Monica is starting to cry.)

Monica-"Oh my god, I am so happy." (wipes tears, and has one of those happy/cry laughs)

Phoebe-"Oh I love you Monica!"

Monica-(laugh/crying some more) "I love you too!"

Scene 8 (last scene)-Chandler, Joey, & Rachel have all now began to chow down on candy while watching "The weakest link."

Joey-"I should go on this show."

All three give him a look as if to say "Are you kidding me?"

Phoebe & Monica enter.

Monica & Phoebe-"Hey everybody."

Everybody-"Shhh!"

(the sound "YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK" plays in the background)

Everybody except for Phoebe & Monica-"Oh no!! I didn't want him to go he was funny! Stupid red head lady!"

Phoebe and Monica join everybody and start munching on candy.
