I am a sixth generation decendent of Thomas and Clarissy Sasser. Their son Littleton Eugene Sasser was the father of James Madison Sasser who was the father of Gedie Howell Sasser who was the father of Nina Orr Sasser Causier who was my mother. My mother was recently killed in an auto accident in Vero Beach, FL. on 2/23/2002. We just had a Ferrell/Sasser reunion in Cairo and Thomasville, GA. I am trying to find out more information of where my grandfather, Gedie is burried. He died in Gadston County, FL on 12/8/1955 and was burried in Centenial Cemmetary in Cairo, GA. 12/11/1955 but there is no marker and no information in the church records. The funeral home that handled the arrangements was Forsyth but they went out of business a couple of years later and left no records of the precise burial spot. If anyone has any information that would be helpful to finding where my grandfather would be burried, I would appreciate the information. Also any good resources to find two of my mother's brothers who died before she was born, Milford Sasser and Eldred Sasser, children of Gedie Howell Saller and Murda Ardelia Ferrell. Eldred was only twelve when he died and
was on the 1910 census as a 4 yr old. I figure he was probably born in 1905 or 1906. Milford died when he was only 3 yrs old and is in the book "Of One Dozen Sasser's" as being born in 1909 and dying in 1912, however, he was not on the April 14, 1910 census, so I figure my grandmother was probably pregnant when the census was done and he was born in 1910 after April 14th. I don't know where either of them are burried and would very much like to find their final resting
places and put an appropriate marker on their graves. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks, Judi Causier e-mail's: judicausier@aol.com and jlcausier@cs.com

I tried to send you an email regarding the Lizzie Sasser and Latney Parrott, but the link you provided is incomplete. You may find this interesting There is a known Sasser-Parrott connection, but from my research it was not between Lizzie and Latney. I show a Lizzie in my family tree who was born in Kentucky, but all family records show that Lizzie was married to George Sasser, and not a Sasser by birth. The Parrott line to the Sasser's seem to be connected when J.T. Miller married Mary L. Parrott, and their son married a Sasser (Lizzie's daughter). From what I have found so far, there were not many Sassers in the Kentucky area that were not related in some sense, and even fewer who were Lizzie. I would love to see just what information you used to link Lizzie Sasser to Latney
Parrott.
