Katherine (Cobb) Crawford, 71, of Carrollton, died Sunday, February 16, 2003, at Green Valley Health Care Center, Carrollton. She was born in Carroll County on January 20, 1932, the daughter of James & Sallie B. (Welch) Cobb. She was a retired as a nurse with Longview State Hospital for 25 years in Cincinnati. She had also worked for the Carroll County Board of Education and the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Carrollton Brownski Rebekah Lodge No. 60. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Crawford, on June 20, 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Fox of Carrollton; a son, Marvin "Bubby" Crawford of Carrollton; two brothers, Thomas Cobb of Carrollton and James Lee Cobb of Sanders; a sister, Joan Kinman of Carrollton; five grandchildren; and nine ggrandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Carrollton IOOF Cemetery. |

Katherine Cobb Crawford, 71, of Carrollton, Ky., died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Green Valley Health Care in that city. She was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Carroll County, the daughter of James and Sallie B. Welch Cobb. She was a nurse at Longview State Hospital in Ohio for more than 25 years; was employed by the Carroll County Board of Education for nine years; and was also employed at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Carrollton Browinski Rebekah Lodge No. 60, and was a homemaker. Surviving are one daughter, Brenda Fox, and one son, Marvin "Bubby" Crawford, both of Carrollton; two brothers, Thomas Cobb of Carrollton and James Lee Cobb of Sanders, Ky.; one sister, Joan Kinman of Carrollton; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Crawford, June 20, 1999; and one sister, Wanda Jean Cobb, in 1947. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton, with burial in the Carrollton IOOF Cemetery.
