When Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen rolled into town, with guitars and more in tow, it was like a reunion. Several of their old friends, met along the road, found their way to Meeting Grace that night.

Blending a charming array of stories and songs from their vast history, both individually and as a duo, Steve & Cindy lavished their humor and harmonies over the crowd. They shared songs from their various albums, from country to more traditional folk ballads. Later in the evening, they each performed some solo work, giving the audience a glimpse to their depth as performers and songwriters. They sang songs in Spanish, upbeat tunes and a crowd favorite, "This One's for You, Mrs. O'Reilly."

Finishing up the evening, Gillette introduced the "hero song" of "Gamble Rogers" and they came back to serenade the audience and the night with another lovely Spanish ballad.

The prowess and finesse of Steve Gillette & Cindy Mangsen did not go unnoticed by anyone in attendance. As songwriters, singers, performers and as caring humans, Steve & Cindy helped enrich the quality of grace at the house.
