All of my themes were created with Desktop Architect. Click on the PREVIEW links to view pop-up previews of each.

SOUNDS - My themes now utilize MPEG Layer 3 sounds, which means that the file sizes are much smaller and the themes will download more quickly than they would with .wav files. BAD NEWS...well, not so bad, but you will probably be unable to hear the sounds unless you have an MP3 decoder. Download the decoder HERE, unzip it, click on the .exe icon and the program will self-extract.

LOGO/BOOT SCREENS - I've also included a neat little utility with my themes called LogoZip. This self-extracting program will install matching startup, wait and shutdown screens for each theme while creating backup files of your previous screens. The program is located within the theme elements folder. Open the folder, click on the .exe setup file and LogoZip will do the rest. This program should work for Windows 98/NT/ME/2000.

But as all of you Windows XP users know, the old logo screens do not work in XP. Microsoft has made it increasingly difficult to change their startup and shutdown screens, but if you would like to try it, I have now added XP boot screen downloads for each of my themes. Please be aware that XP screens only allow 16 bit color, instead of the 256 colors of logo screens, so they may seem a little blah in comparison. Just download any of my matching XP Boot Screens (which are merely zipped bitmap images) and drag and drop it into your chosen boot screen program. There are a variety of programs out there for changing your boot screens (Changer XP, BootSkin, ScreenBooty, etc..), many of which are available for free download, demo and/or purchase at ZDNet Downloads. Just do a search on "boot screens XP."

I use a free boot screen overlay program called BootLogo, and although it seems to work just fine for me, please be aware that changing your XP boot screen MAY be risky to your system. Just FYI. Please read ALL of the instructions and information if you choose to install any sort of boot screen modification program.

DOWNLOADS - All of my theme and screensaver files are now stored at a third party server, EZThemes/EZSkins. More recently uploaded files are now available by direct download, but the older uploads will redirect you to the EZThemes site, and my download files are available there.
